Maybe we could kidnap Hughes and tie him to a radiator then tell the players just to go out and play football how they would like to perform.....genius eh..?

as for huge massive investment by the owners etc I bet you could point to a hell of a lot of club with no investment who are being run within there budget and continue to outdo us I ain’t no fan of Rupp he fooked up in letting that clown Edin do what he wants but if we do fail this season the blame lies with Hughes .............. he got everything he needed to get us up and if we don’t make at least the top 7 then it’s down to him and him alone

You don’t know the in’s and outs of the game.

Football is more than on the pitch and you don’t need rich owners to help you succeed. Yes, it helps but our owner is useless! He’s a disgrace like Edin.

The club is all wrong in its mindset and with them talking about the economy of Bradford you can see it is. It doesn’t understand it’s fan base still that’s clear. @wetherbywhaler on that dvd was talking about the economy of Bradford. He doesn’t he live in Bradford! Lots don’t like me and places in Bradford like Thackley, Clayton, Wrose, Idle, Bingley etc are decent areas with houses worth more than 200k plus there.

The club needs to stop acting like it’s doing fans a favour. Talk about plans to move the club forward and act like winners not bloody losers like Bradford council do.

 

I'd say bringing Mark Hughes to the club is with the aim of improving the club, as was the appointment of Derek Adams it didn't work out at Valley Parade but he had 3 promotions on his CV Ross County, Plymouth Argyle and Morecambe.

 

Like Conte said about Spurs. You can keep changing the manager and bring in top managers but you soon find out that it’s not the always the managers fault. Other things are major factors.

Threads like this annoy me because it brings back memories of how close we were to the championship before Laurel and Hardy turned up.. arghhhhhhh all we needed was that bit of investment after we lost to millwall in Parkys last game but nope.. they hit the reset button and decimated us.. it look the threat of a flyby for Rupp to act, and fair play he has backed Hughes this season, but what he let happen to this club by his mate Edin is unforgivable.. so RUPP OUT!

 

The season we missed out getting beat by Millwall we were still owned by Julian & Mark, who then sold the club to Laurel & Hardy, Parky walks out after speaking with Edin and Stuart takes over and gets one better than Parky getting us to Wembley, totally agree that closed season Laurel & Hardy should have invested in that team that came so close, unfortunately we know there were problems behind the scenes, no money was forthcoming for Stuart and it all been downhill from there.

How can you actually blame the owner for THIS season when Hughes probably got what he needed ????
Pissing around at the back was that down to Rupp ???
Bringing in sub standard loan players was that down to Rupp ???
Now don’t got me wrong he’s fooked up and got suckered in by a complete Khoont but so did 17k others because I didn’t recall folk questioning the board when Parky Fooked off that when questions should have been really asked.
Still unless somehow a millionaire is out there to take us over then it is what it is and in all honesty you can say that there are owners out there willing to take it on but who ?????

The club was in the same posistion from 2007 to 2013 and I can’t recall anyone interested back then so why would they do it now

 

The club has had offers but have turned them down. Rightly or wrongly but people have been interested in buying us. What does make it harder is that we own nothing and don't talk in a positive way of moving the club forward in any shape or form.

 

Rupp is just as bad as Edin. We can't get away from that.

We have done nothing but fail under his ownership.

 

• not many clubs have a stadium that is 25K + capacity (we are the 37th largest ground in the country, that is home to a football team)
• out of those clubs one is in League Two.
• within that 37 Charlton is is the closest club in terms of size that is in the league above, they charge £285, £425 and £625 for Zones 3,2 and 1 respectively.
• compare that to us at £198 and £378.
• their average league attendance is 13,350. Their current sales numbers for season tickets is 6000. Ours is over 14,000 (higher than last seasons total too.)

The club is very savvy to actually use its size well, large crowds attract more people, more sponsorship and ultimately more season ticket revenue.

and to answer your point, not all clubs are big enough and low enough to have that in place. Accrington Stanley charge £285 for a season ticket but do so as the spaces are very limited!

 

As a ’winner’ mentality its the least he can do to to share his vision and supporting business plan!
