Terrible second half, disappointing after a good first. Regardless of his critics Chapman was a big loss Nevers isn’t the answer. He wasn’t the only one though but we did get worse when he came on.

 

Win all our games, and it comes down to goal difference between us and Northampton for an automatic place.

Don't see that happening though. Given the experience, not to mention wages, on the pitch in the likes of Smallwood and Walker it was disappointing to see such a lack of composure and control in the second half. It doesn't bode well for the run in.

 

Definite penalty. We get nothing from DRYSDALE

Worst opinion I've read here recently

 

Barrow and Swindon the only 2 defeats this year, both on poor form when we play them 6 points down the drain.
Typical city , we just cant stop this type of thing happening or win more than 2 in a row .
Big chance wasted.

 

6 points off Northampton with a game in hand and still to play them....

We were poor tonight but the facts remain, if we win our last 4 games there's a good chance we go up automatically.

Our game against Gillingham at the weekend is just absolutely massive. We have to win. Mansfield are at home to Stevenage and Salford away to Walsall. We can’t afford another night like tonight.

 

Real disappointed with that. The worry is by Saturday we could be out of the play offs

Some ridiculous comments on here on some player performances from us today, mostly towards Nevers who I thought was decent. A result of fine margins and sadly we came off on the wrong side.

We had chances but made the wrong decision in front of goal.
We lose Gillead out of the middle and their goal comes from his replacement not following his man.

Walker was really good today.
As was Smallwood and Gillead until we had to change when Hendrie went off. As soon as he did, we lost shape and looked very uncharacteristic versus how we have recently.
Reliable performers such as Cook and Crichlow were off it tonight.

Strangely the Crawley game was more frustrating than tonight for me - however tonights result is the more painful.

I’m not losing heart, we mostly played well. Move quickly on from this and win all our remaining games and let’s see where we land. Just hope Chapman and Halliday injuries aren’t long ones.

 

Utter shite. Didnt have a kick in the second half until the last ten mins. Crich was sloppy tonight. Platt should be back in for Gills.

nevers is too raw.

Hendrie deputised well.

Results elsewhere weren’t kind.

A terrible night. Left rueing those missed chances first half. Andy Cook give your head a shake.

 

Exactly. Chapman was a big loss he is a very good player in this league

 

As soon as we started hoofing it to an isolated Cook (from minute 1) it was then, I knew, we’d get sweet FA from this game.

To then go on to not even compete in that second half and lose the game the way we did, is simply unacceptable.

 

So we could finish 8th @Sergio Pinto III? What is it 2 points?

We need to improve or I will be correct.

 

Think we're done for... Can't see us winning anymore this season.. Defo won't beat Gillingham.. Horrible time wasting team whom we will struggle against..
