4:20 am I got back from Gillingham last Wednesday morning. It's difficult midweek even if you can afford it. I'm working nights this Tuesday and I've run out of holidays until they start again at the beginning of April so it's not even up for debate for me unfortunately.

 

Nobody is calling out anyone on here.
Just thought more would have gone to cheer the lads to 3 vital points.
The localish away games are down to 2 after this so thought uptake would have been strong.
Still time but todays ticket news suggested otherwise.

 

I would say that the above sentence is very much calling people out.
Basically saying to people is it too much effort to completely rearrange your working schedule to finish at 4 o’clock without knowing 1 single thing about any of us.

 

Exactly what I said earlier. There are times when it’s just not feasible.

I will be honest, Newport doesnt appeal at all. Long journey for a game of football. I can go to Crewe and Rochdale in less time and for less money.

I went to Orient. That wasnt enjoyable!

I don’t need to know anyone, statistics tell me everything I need to know.
That precisely 1-3% of our fanbase can be bothered 100% of the time and that 97% of our fanbase are bothered only when it suits them.
I know with 100% certainty that if this game was played on a Tues night in late April and if winning that game meant promotion, then there would be a queue the length of the main stand for remaining tickets.
Rush hour traffic and changing work schedules would somehow be achievable then. Lol

 

So what? People are more motivated to go to games when there is a lot riding on them. Well, fancy that! Who knew?

 

Sorry @Loyalbantam your making yourself look silly now with your comments, what other people do with there free time has nothing to do with you me or anyone else, give it a rest.
You go on about 6000 turning up at the second leg semi final at Villa Park would you have preferred us to take a couple of hundred, now that would have been embarrassing.
Fans turning out for big games is not a new phenomenon we've had massive crowds in the past against the like of Spurs, Everton, Liverpool, Burnley and Manchester United long before your day but still massive attendances compared with our league attendances.

 

Yet it’s still 2 hours to Walsall…Righty Ho! Next faux pas.
