Their form is better than ours. If we don’t vastly improve then they will be overtaking us.

We were poor yesterday and have been for a while. Let’s not play Bradford City is great here because we are far from that.

 

You're right Kev, points in the bag are always preferable to games in hand. By the time we next play, we will have 2 games in hand on Carlisle, but if their good form continues, they could be 10 points ahead of us by then.

No 1 issue with your comment, which on the whole I agree with Dave, is the “ Danger Zone”

The actual danger zone that counts in any game like this is the goal. I shouldn’t have to say they didn’t score.

As Rod said earlier, if we had beaten some of the so called “ easier” opposition in the few games we have played in the run up to this game, tonight would have been an absolutely outstanding point against the form team of the division.

Some are on a downer….because we didn’t win against, I’ll say it again, the form team of the division.

Other than the throw ins of Bola , I’m not sure what he did wrong and offered twice as much offensively than Foulds did in his last three games. Likewise Clayton put himself around a lot, and he didn’t get booked…. He’s no mug either.

Im more than happy with the point. I’m not happy with the loss of points to Rochdale etc. That’s the issue people should be bleating about not taking two points off our nearest rival.?

we have massed up a total of 0 goals in our last 5 away games that’s right 0 goals in 5 away games ...........so in 450 minutes of football well you can probably add another 20 minutes with stoppage time we have scored 0 goals ........... 470 minutes without a goal and folk think that last night was part of some kind of plan

Post match comment from Hughes that Oliver has been arguably been one of our better players has me thinking Bronco is right. He's desperately trying to justify that 3 year deal.

 

Oliver in a team that puts decent balls in the right areas will get goals .........so why bring in a player that your not gonna use correctly ????
We very rarely put decent crosses in and if we are gonna use him as a target man then surly you need another forward to pick up his flick ons but we do neither .

still no doubt the front lads will get pulled to bits by folk on here while the man whose creating this mess gets a free pass

Maybe he needs to change that approach to we start with the intention of three points, but take a point if that later becomes necessary

 

Thats not how football works, never has. If you go to a team who in are red hot form at home and get a point then the home team will see it as two points dropped. Especially as the away teams game plan was to just get a point. Am i bit peeved that we didn't go for the win? Too right, i'd stuck a few quid on us but never had a chance of winning. And i think you owe travelling fans a bit more than one one feeble effort on goal in 90 minutes against a team on the night who looked nothing special. But it most certainly wasn't a good point for the home team.

My god is that the ambition of the club now ????
The likes of Stevenage with probably a lot less budget than ours are winning games for fun and not afraid to go after anyone and yet we are happy with a point !!!!!!!
Sorry but if we have anything at all about us as a club then we shouldn’t fear anyone ........... another sold out away end being treated to that yet again ........... 470 minutes without a goal and folk are trying to justify it ........... the same folk would have been pulling Adams or Bowyer to bits by now
