I liked what I saw of the kid Nevers he looked very direct just like Wright.

 

I thought the looked like he wanted to drive the ball when he came on against wimbledon, which none of our wingers seem to do too often. Hopefully our fans give Costelloe some time, had 3 months out with a knee injury and last week was his first game since September. Fingers crossed he can get up to speed soon.

Going to be interesting to see our team when everyone has bedded in and comes to it. Like in terms of pace until January, other than Wright we didn't really have a lot of pace in the side. Chapman, Pereira & Banks seem the more 'ball at the feet' type of wide player but Nevers from his clips and his cameo looks like he wants to drive. Bola is a quick wing back, Costelloe has some pace to him from the looks of his Burnley clips. Might actually have a few outlets to pegs the opposition full backs into their spots.

Hughes said the OG had been challenged and given to Oliver.

 

And Eisa's ?

 

Fair enough. Oliver still gets nowhere near Cooks goal every 120 minutes ratio so I can't see Park's logic in slagging off Cook. YP today has a good article with Hughes confirming he would be stupid to sell his top scorer and just wanted to take him out of the firing line for a bit. I expect him to be back on Saturday.

I agree. He was very raw against wimbledon. But being out for 3 months plus not even had a training session makes sense of the rawness. But do think he will be lethal when he is firing on all cylinders! Im excited for Saturday thats for sure!
