Young and Dion may well depart but I don’t think Hughes sees the engine room as a weakness.

 

In a squad that are peeing the league yet in the world of Bradford City you know at league two level a championship player is not good enough for us

 

seriously I simply don’t get what he actually sees in there ????
They both must be shit hot in training to keep getting picked I seriously believe if we sorted that area out then we would be on our way

The evidence suggests the contrary at the moment though.

Sure, we might sign one or two or three. Who knows? But what are we recruiting for? Do we have a system in mind? Or are we just signing players who we think might be alright in some system or other? It certainly seems like that.Why on earth do we keep signing wingers? It all seems lacking in rationale and, looking back, it was in the summer too. Our three year contract signings are making a great impact aren't they? Not to mention Hendrie, Sutton and East contracted to the end of next season. I'm completely at a loss to understand what we're trying to achieve.

 

We shall see. Until we see the end result it’s pure guesswork however I think 433 may be our go to formation going forward . I don’t know, nobody does?

 

We have almost a team of f ball players I think a bit of Steel is needed now. Especially in the midfield area where we tend to get bullied a bit

 

I really hope Gent is beavering away on a dynamic 'number four' type midfield player that is going to blow us away.

I think we all agree with that. Even if it mean shelling out a decent fee to get the right man! We need to offload to pay the accompanying remuneration that will come with it.

 

Maybe Hendrie is looking to move and we're having a good look at FCD in training to see if he'll be the new understudy for Halliday before making a decision?

FCD is a decent defender. Certainly has potential. His positioning is suspect though, tends to switch off at the wrong times. If he can fix that then he’d be a decent deputy to Halliday
