That sounds like a nightmare. Coming into Bradford from the top of the M606 as we do, which way would you suggest to get to the MR side of VP? We usually park around the junction of Queens Rd and King's Rd area.

Try using the park and ride at top of M606…..oh wait…….there isn’t one even though there’s huge spaces to do so.

I’d say go Mayo then down onto Manchester road, imagine it’ll still be busier than normal as a few will do same but better than going anywhere near Wakefield road.

I use Manchester road and it’s not normally too bad.
Most away fans will follow the directions from the top of the M606 which is the Wakefield road route so I would definitely avoid that route.

I drove where the sink hole is towards Canal rd at rush hour yesterday and it was only restricted up to the Sikh temple and it wasn’t any busier than normal really.

Drove down today. Crossed bottom of Wakefield Road/Leeds Road/Otley road, to drive to Baildon. Absolutely no problem, even had the traffic light Gods on my side!

They have their own dedicated lanes in most p&r systems in every town/ city I know of. Otherwise it’s a tad pointless.

Before setting off on our walk from Shipley to Valley Parade I've been listening to an interview with the Stockport manager on You Tube.
He reminded the journalist that he was manager of Hartlepool last seson when they came to City and won despite a poor away record.
Surely the current team is better than the one from a year ago?

Mark Hughes made one change from the Harrogate game as Timi Odusina replaced Romoney Crichlow in defence. City reverted to a back four after the midweek experiment with three centre halves in the Papa Johns Trophy.

Kian Harratt, who missed a penalty in the shoot-out, was back on the bench in place of Jake Young.

CITY: Lewis, Halliday, Platt, Odusina, Foulds, Gilliead, Smallwood, Pereira, Chapman, Wright, Cook. Subs: Angol, Oliver, Harratt, Sutton, Songo’o, Crichlow, Doyle.
