Looking at the ticket website, i would say that includes the Stockport sales, hopefully we sell a few more before Saturday.

When was the last season we were able to do that, make changes that are not detrimental to the strength of the starting 11, decent cover in every position on the pitch that Hughes is no fool we've asked him to deliver promotion and he's been given the tools to do exactly that.

That is why I specified League 2. However have you a link to these Division 4 games, l would be interested to have a read.
I have looked at this website. It has the league level in one column and the highest attendance in another. Having a cursory glance I struggled to find any evidence. https://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/englandcontent.htm
    Thanks.

20,000 should be achievable going by our last two home games plus 2,000 to 2,700 away fans then add into the mix it's a local derby with history then bang!

Stockport trying to look massive lol

How many times have we taken huge away followings only for our team not to turn up? We'll be fine against Stockport as long as we play to our strengths

    Its all sources.
Stockport have sold around 1800 so far which is disappointing but there is a train strike and the club don't run coaches to away games, a bit like us.
Even home sales have not been strong surprisingly.
We won't even top 19k by the looks of things.

"The highest average league attendance in the Fourth Division was 19,092, achieved by Crystal Palace in the 1960/61 season. The highest attendance at an individual match was recorded the same season: 37,774 for the Good Friday game at Selhurst Park between Crystal Palace and Millwall.[2] The highest attendance in a fourth-tier playoff final is 61,589 Bristol Rovers Vs Shrewsbury Town in 2009."

2k will still be a good following considering the tinpot support we have seen already ............. add a rail strike and they’ve hardly started the season off well

We won’t even top 19k, if someone had said that in the 70s when 5,000 was a good crowd I’d have thought they were dreaming of getting anywhere near that. It’s incredible how our support base has grown from what it was in the 60s to 80s. The football public of Bradford were largely disinterested in those days with half the football public still bitter about Avenue and wouldn’t go near Valley Parade. Even Trevor Cherries title winners of the 84/85 season would only attract 5 to 6000. It’s brilliant now walking up North Parade and seeing so many City supporters young and old going to watch City.

For all the stick Julian Rhodes has had to take over his time at the club he was the man who instigate the cheap season tickets (when his co owner was against it I believe), I know its been discussed many times but even a blind man could see a stadium with an average 15,16,17,000 fans attending each home because of the cheap tickets is far better than 10,000 paying £250+.

Three big factors have helped our gates increase from the mid90's when we were still only pulling in 5-7,000
    1. Our brief sojourn in the Prem
    2. The huge transformation of VP post 85
3 The reduction in hooliganism. Those of us who remember the dark days of the 80's when most clubs grounds were like prisons to keep warring fans apart.

18000+ for a league 2 game is incredible . I am certain if we stay up there we might reach the 20000 mark later in the season.
