I have BBC Sport open on my phone to keep up with results elsewhere and towards the end of the first half it was saying City had 57% of possession, not at the game I was at. Stevenage 57% maybe but as others have said we did what we had too to combat the way Stevenage played.
Although we've started well I believe there is far more to come from this squad.

Wasn’t sure if it was only me but I also thought Timi looked really poor in the first half especially.
It seems strange to criticise a defender when you keep a clean sheet but he will definitely have to be a bit more consistent if he wants to keep the shirt.

I thought he got better as the game went on, first half he was all over the place. Platt is really starting to impress though, two games now where teams have been very direct, usual league 2 fare, and he's coped admirably.

Glad someone else pointed this out first. I thought the same. I don't want to be tight after a good win but he looked really poor. His man kept getting in behind him and his aerial ability looks non existent.

You know what else hasn't been mentioned Mark Hughes a proud Welsh man stood on the touch line at 70 minutes clapping with the fans for the full minute while Evans was sat in his seat absolute class!

Platt was outstanding but the whole team and subs were also a credit for the work rate and determination not to concede, Well done the lot of them including MH

Tyreik Wright and Richie Smallwood take a bow lads! That was higher level stuff from them today, Smallwood threading pinpoint balls through, and Wright ripped a good defence to shreds!

And Cooky... Just phenomenal at the minute.

I was convinced Evans' hoodoo was specific to Parky's style, and to see more modern passing play just tear Stevenage to shreds was a joy to behold. Never in doubt today. We defender manfully and as a team.

    Top drawer!

It was basically Odusina's first match. Like everyone, he'll get better with more minutes. It's fab we have 3 good central defenders plus solid full backs.

Yes my thoughts exactly ….they were pulling him over the place , plus an ott tackle to boot. He’s turning out to be one heck of a signing.

Someone by me thought the same, at half time, but we were passing it around at the back a lot, which will have contributed to that 57% a lot.

just read their forum.. They think we are crap , a one man team in Cook and Hughes is shite. Strange how other fans see things. I thought they were good at what they do , but very one dimensional and could not change the style when it did not work. Evans style of football wherever he has managed and surely their bubble will burst with the small squad, once injuries etc kick in, I thought we played it perfectly, soaked up the pressure and caught them on the break.
