I hope it’s with a view to eventually buying him out or becoming the majority shareholder. I heard a few weeks ago that Hughes might be involved but it could just be terrace gossip.

 

Is this all Chinese whispers and wishful thinking by supporter. What ever happens , its perfectly clear we need to spend what we have much more wisely.

 

It was one of the lads I know from way back who I believe has something to do with hosting hospiality but he didn't have a name for the potencial new investor Huw Jenkins name has certainly been mentioned during Julians second time at the club.

If this was to be true then what does Jenkins or anyone else get out of giving us £2million as it can't be a loan if it's going into the player budget unless it's transfer fees so it would have to mean they are buying a share in the club

if someone is giving £2m for a share in the club and the cash is going to Hughes then our owner is going to struggle even more to ever get his cash back out by selling the club.

If he has out £6m in so far and is giving up a third of the shares for the £2m investment then he would have to sell the club for £9m to get his £6m back

 

That’s the area his name was mentioned yesterday. But it could be just another rumour. But what isn’t a rumour is the statement saying we have a very competitive budget this coming season
