    The young guns have been brilliant and big shout outs and credit to them. But they all now need to work harder, learn more, put their foot to the pedal and really kick on. Still a few levels to go before they can break into our first team squad.

    Oh I think we can spare a a few minutes for them. We need to look after them, they didn’t arrive here by accident. They are talented and have been well managed. I think Mark might want to give them a run out. If they are good enough they are old enough. I will leave it up to MH and MD to see if they are up to playing in the 1st Team towards the end of the season and at home.

    Glad we kept Martin Drury on in a coaching capacity, obviously thrust into the first team role when he either wasn't ready or he's more suited to working in a player development coaching role.

    When I first read this I assumed the author must have been Freddy Jeffreys’ dad but it was followed with an article on a Scunthorpe player on loan at Cleethorpes. Not sure how much we can read in to it but for a bloke who appears to have no City connection, it was very positive about the young lads. Oh and the short video was a good watch too.

    Its an excellent write up. Very knowledgeable chap who must watch a lot of junior football. If we can keep this squad of lads together?
