In the last seven games that this idiot has refereed our games, we have won only one (Oxford home in 2018), drawn only one (Swindon home) and lost five.
In that time the prat has seen to send off two of our players - NKP and Vincelot.
Like you I am convinced that this man has a vendetta against City, as he always seems to enjoy being controversial.
Maybe it's from the days when he sent Windass off in the car park in 2007 when Windass told him not to give up his day job.
Time the EFL binned him.

I don't think he has a vendetta against us at all. He is just one of those refs who like to think they are part of the entertainment and likes to be controversial. I'm guessing most fans of other clubs think he is poor too

Seen plenty of games where you don’t even notice the ref and after the game you can’t even remember who it was.
Without the Windass incident he’d just be another poor lower league referee.
One of the few refs at our level who the crowd refer to by his surname rather than “ref” which says a lot .
Seen him plenty of times on the telly and he’s just a piss poor ref who likes to be the centre of attention.

 

What yesterday proved for me, and I hate to admit this, we missed elliot watt badly and missed the defensive work gilliead does. It also proved, to me, that Sutton isn't good enough.

 

Think we will have to progress through a couple of home draws first before we see a win, gonna be dire...

 

We were second best yesterday but only just and when we got the ball down and played we looked decent it was when we forced to play long we fell down because the centre forward isn’t up to it. But we had two gilt edge chances that could have given us a point.
With players coming back there is no reason why we can’t have a decent end to the season but with a lot to do in the summer

When you consider Elliot Watt was replaced by Nathan Delfounseo (who was somehow even worse than normal) then its not surprising there was a hole in midfield.

If we'd have played Sutton in his correct role, instead of the bizarre left wing position he's been given under Hughes, I think we'd have been a lot more solid centrally.

 

Not often I agree with you ,but spot on ,I’m hoping Hughes is just giving some players playing time to access them all for next season .evans can not be a holding midfielder either don’t want to see him in that position again

 

The only wide role for Delfouneso should be either wide on Manningham Lane or, wide on Midland Role.

 

Fully agree but my comment to put him wide left was considering no one else was fit enough to play there from the start.

 

I think someone on a WOAP podcast suggested that he looked like a defender when playing in midfield and a midfielder when playing in defence.
