A series of decent results would go a long way to dispel concerns of keyboard warriors. The old adage ‘results (positive) speak a lot louder than words’.

Four more wins on the bounce and nobody will care about Rupp's £300k.

I reckon once everyone's caught up in terms of games played, we're about 10 points off the pace as far as the play offs are concerned.

With them likely to continue scoring over 1.5 points per game, we need to hit some serious form to catch up.

Derek's said he thinks we'll do it, war cry hollered.

Let's go, we'll need around 33-35 points from our final 16 games, can't afford any slip ups now.

Whatever the truth, if we have a top five budget, then it is translating that into a top five placing. I would prefer a top three budget if that would result in automatic promotion. Given the supposed rules on financial FairPlay, I would be interested to see how the income was generated for the four who have bigger budgets than us.

Very good seems better away than at home, will he become one of those players that does better at smaller clubs as his career goes on? Early days though hopefully he settles down and gets consistency. At least he comes for the ball so is an upgrade on what we had.

I was actually more impressed with Hendrie tbh, felt he gave the team a lot more balance. Amazing what playing a right back at right back can do.

The right back issue has been a joke for too long.

Luke is basically guaranteed to start every game because Derek did a Stuart and worked on old info, thinking Oscar was a right back, much like when Stuart brought back Evans and thought he was still a winger.

    It's League Two.

Basics like playing players in positions they're accustomed to helps - as opposed to playing them in positions they occupied a few years ago.

@WilsdenBantam@WilsdenBantam - it was the quietest away end I've been in for a while. Gillingham away a few years back was on a par.

Do we think Adams got threatened with the sack if he didn’t change his tune? Sets up with a formation we all want, drops the RB we all think is rubbish, gets a win, and then almost praises the supporters in his post match interview. He was like a different person.

Cue informative post about how we don't know what we're talking about and Adams hasn't been told off or threatened with the sack in 3...2...

not one word of dissent on I do believe that I mean the worlds a far better place because we saw off a pee poor Stevenage team with more than a little help from our keeper ............. and maybe these so called keyboard warriors are peed off with what’s gone of this season especially the previous 3 games or was you indeed happy with that ????
You can make out all you want that everything is ok but 2/3thosand fans ain’t gonna put up with this sham anymore ...............

The difference between this performance and the one on Saturday was we took one of the chances. Also helps when the opposition offer no goal threat at all until very late on, despite the possession they were a very poor side and badly set up on the night.
I certainly ain't getting carried away, there are still too many deficiencies in this side for it to be a genuine promotion contender but it was nice to see a win for a change.

One win against a piss poor team and the jerk circle is back up and running. Funny those watching waiting desperately for a win so they can stand up against those 'horrible keyboard warriors' lol.
Notice these very people have been very quiet of the last few months. A win always brings them out of the woodwork.

Haven't we all been waiting desperately for a win?

I certainly haven't been waiting desperately for any more draws, that's for true.

I wait for a win every week but don't usually get one. I could just guess which supporters whi couldn't wait to have a go at what they perceive to be keyboard warriors. Makes me chuckle because they are so predictable

I will go for the pressure they are under mentally that drains them and slows them down.
Its never been relaxed since Orient away at the back end of August.

    Really?

You come out of hiding? Unlike weak Ryan?

Explain why we sit 11th, no back to back wins since August then?

One result doesn’t mean all is ok!

does my head in if they actually defended them when results ain’t that good then fair enough but they don’t and get all giddy because due mostly to our keeper we beat a bog standard Stevenage team .................... but hey we are all keyboard warriors for moaning about the dross served up ................ my god I bet Adams loves these guys serve them up any old crap and they will be happy with it ................5th biggest budget decent away followings him and away yet these loons are happy with a midtable finish ..........mad
