    The first three signings tell me that 4-2-3-1 is here to stay and the output of Cooke/Vernam/Gilliead et al wasn't up to the level Adams wanted.

    And/or Watt? There's been some suggestion that Daly has been playing deeper than his label as an 'attacking midfielder' would seem to suggest. And still scored 7 goals.

    Cooke, Vernham and Gilliead haven’t contributed enough and should be bench fillers. I wouldn’t want to see them leave because they are decent squad members. Whether they want to hang around is another matter. Hopefully we’ve now got goal scorers across the park and results will start to turn.

    Not sure about this signing.I think his goals might cloud the actual picture. He only has 2 in the league and the rest are in the papa johns. I’m not sure Hartlepool rated him that highly.

    I can’t see how any seasoned professional will make way for a direct replacement who is a rookie 20 year old who has scored most of his goals in the papa johns against youth sides…
