He said that when he had him at Plymouth, Songo'o will know exactly what he means. Adams made comments once when Songo'o trying to play fancy passes and said in the press he needs to stop it as he can't do it. It's not really a criticism, it's the reality that he's not technically good but works incredibly hard and that's why he's as good as he is. If he had good technical ability he'd be at a much higher level

 

Hard to ask questions when sparks is sat on your face

I went, asked a question, found that both Ryan and Derek are decent at answering the questions and sounding logical.

The statement they made that I agreed with most was that none of the Stefan Rupp stuff or the little details would matter to anyone if we were winning games and getting promoted.

Well then.

Time to get promoted.

 

Yes but he's saying he doesn't have enough winners yet he said he made all the signings.

The football aspect I understand because not every signing will fit in and perform well but that also means he is a poor judge of character.

 

I had it nailed on that the majority of this crap signed was down to Turnbull hence his departure once the window was shut , but now sadly if they are his signings then I ain’t to confident at all going forward
Let’s just say that this window and the next four months will have massive bearings on next season ............ if it’s a good window and there are signs that we are on the right path then fair enough ............ but another poor window and another half season of the football witnessed already then frankly I can see thousands not bothering next season if he’s still at the helm

 

I get that. Its hardly a glowing endorsement of his record here so far, is it? I can't see Adams fills me with confidence, I just don't see what constant resetting will achieve. He needs at least another year in which he needs to show demonstrable progress.

Blaming Turnbull would have looked slopey shouldered and undermined his own credibility. And actions speak louder than words; the fact that Turnbull was booted so soon after the window closed speaks louder than any words shared tonight

Why is it baffling? We take our chances and turn half those draws into wins and we don't have anywhere near as much to moan about. Winning also breeds confidence, something we are sadly lacking.
