Trouble is this what we were saying last season - how many times do fans go through it. This season they had more income from ST, lost some players on bigger contracts - yet we have seen a reduced player budget and not signed players of a decent calibre - but ones who we have been found wanting.

You’re right. But at a guess, I’d say those in the lower and middle age brackets are more likely to be willing to try something new, and want to see a brighter future for the club than just ‘existing’.

In the real world nobody emails a football club owner and says I am so and so of such and such and offer you xmillion quid for your club. It's fantasy land stuff and you seem to be the only person in bradford who believed him. I doubt even his wife/ husband/ girlfriend/ lover/ boyfriend or which ever is applicable believes that crap.

The question that I would love to be answered, assuming that the WIGMA version is correct, is what changed? Why did SR go back on the agreement?

We can only speculate that it wasn't enough cash.

I wonder, if the report from the Twitter space chat is correct, whether the realisation that we don't own our facilities might have been a factor? Did they realise that they were basically buying a name and the right to play football in the Football League (currently), access to a reasonable income stream for this level of football and not much else? Did the offer change?

I guess we will never know.
