Trouble is Rocket the club to date has gone backwards over a number of years and is stagnating on the football field at the moment. Rupp needs to take a more active role - including investing in a better quality of players than the club appear to at the moment. Being a city fan is just frustrating under his stewardship at this time.

Trying to crack complex algorithms using super computers. Cracking the algorithm effectively adds additional bitcoins into the 'blockchain' (adding them into circulation).

Apparently there are/were 3 clubs in the mix Stevenage, Sutton and Bradford City, if we believe what these guys have posted it's the later, Stefan (or someone) has acknowledged an interest has be lodged, at the moment that's a long way off purchasing the club, unless of course things are happening behind the scenes.
I remember the debate with yourself saying what happend at QPR with Paladinis involvement which wasn't great, we got bought by two Germans with no day to day involvement with running a football club, and look where we are as a club a shadow of the club Stefan purchased.
I'm not sure what to make of the present situation but as with any take over the new buyers sometimes come with baggage that most fans wouldn't want anything to do with in normal life, unfortunatly as football fans we are happy to turn a blind eye when it suits.

The problem is with these groups is how much are the big names actual involved. Alot of the times the big names in these crypto companies (and tech ones in general) are little more than angel investors, they aren't sitting there waiting to throw more money in on a whim. Their names get used because its beneficial to use the names for everyone as it brings more people in which then either helps them get return on their investment or to get out completely and move onto the next venture they want to get into early and out fairly quickly for a big profit. If it was one of the people buying it personally it would mean much more but a consortium of people with a background of angel investing doesn't suggest they are willing to financially back the club out of their own money

Clearly you don't understand the mechanics of Manchester football. Go there on a match day, when United play the hotels are rammed and prices sky rocket but the pubs are empty. When City play the pubs are full. Because Man Utd fans come from outside of Manchester and City fans from within.

Given Manchester has a near 700,000 population, and Man City don't fill their ground, there is room for Salford to progress because they will mainly take support from disenfranchised supporters of Bury, Bolton, FC United of Manchester and because of the link, even part time United supporters.

Stevenage's population is 10,000 smaller than Keighley, and absolutely rammed with spurs supporters, so much so that their under 23 teams actually play at the Lamex. Journey time 45 minutes and 27 miles. Stevenage have virtually hit their glass ceiling, whereas Bradford City have shown that it can (and with success will) grow as a club.

No-one in their right mind would buy Stevenage expecting to be able to turn it into a football force, but Burnley have shown that we could achieve mediocre PL success with the right funding.

I appreciate the argument that someone thinks Wrexham can achieve success, but they are 30 miles away from their nearest FL neighbour in Tranmere and have the welsh nationalist thing behind them.

Yeah there isn't a great deal of space right in Sutton and what there is might be expensive but there is the possibility of moving out of the town but still in the same area which would give them a bit more choice. Stevenage would certainly be better from that pov but there is a more of a crowded catchment area

My 12 year old confirms the identity of the Tik Tok bloke, and couldn’t believe “he’s buying Bradford City”. I hope it comes off, just for the sheer showbiz of it all!

mice said it before, there’s always something happening at our club!

Salford have something that these lot don't have and that's the Class of 95. It will be the same with Wrexham, having
Rob McElhenney and even more so Ryan Reynolds gives them a massive boost as the owners themselves bring people in

Move where? Somewhere half way down the M3, 20 miles away?
Imagine if Bradford City relocated to maximise catchment. Don’t talk nonsense. It didn’t work moving Wimbledon to Milton Keynes and it won’t work anywhere else

There was a figure of £10m mentioned earlier in this thread if that is what the potential new owners belive is the going rate for a league two footbal club with few assets then I do wonder about their intentions of buying our club

My take on things is simple.

Unfortunately Rupp stays on as owner, as @Park bantam@Park bantam alludes, January will be a series of loans, though I feel 1 or 2 permanent signings of league 2 quality will join, with a view to strengthening for next season, with some outgoings.

Fans will be disappointed by the incoming, mainly because of ridiculous expectations, on their part.

Adams will continue to manage and divide fans. The club will continue to hover around midtable and like I, some fans will fail to attend home games. Football will be disrupted by Covid.

    January.
