Away Priority Cards

Problem is that loyalty points create a ‘two tier’ system. (Im only saying two tier as anyone who do think covid passes are bad don't realise how ‘two tier’ existence already is)

point is so people who have money and free time should be able to go to in demand away games? What about the poor kid who only managed to get a day off but cant go as some rich OAP can afford to go to every game.

if you genuinely wanted fairness you'd want a raffle for every away game.

Why ?

 

Don’t see your point presumably the ones that travel the country every other week have joined the loyalty scheme and they will get the points for attending all the games so why not let those who join in order to guarantee a spot at places like Harrogate have the rest

 

Guess we’ll never agree but I’m 100% in favour of the fans who regularly travel getting 1st dibs at tickets and that’s exactly what we’ll have starting next season. Yes it maybe tough on the poor bloke who can only afford 1 away game per season but sadly that’s life.

 

So I'm a chancer now. The insults keep coming.

 

It’s not an insult to anyone but yes if your whole motivation of buying a priority pass is to secure tickets for premium away games without actually attending any ‘run of mill’ games then yes you’re a chancer

 

If you want to buy a priority ticket to guarantee you certain away tickets then there is nothing in the terms and conditions to stop you doing this. Thankfully in my opinion a point system is fairer in the fact the more games you get to in a season should give you priority over other fans who have been to less games. There has to be some form of reward for fans who travel everywhere.

 

I'm presuming all these people who buy priority away tickets are assigned to the various travel clubs we have.

Found it odd that two had sold out of spots on the coaches before away tickets had even gone on sale, how does that work?

Do these clubs get favours for running the travel on behalf of the club

 

Well let’s just say the Shipley Bantams didn’t have to camp out for Burton or Fleetwood playoff tickets.
They simply sent a representative down to the ticket office at 9am to collect their golden envelope

 

But will these poor kids be rich later on in life? Probably not!

 

But why would the fans who trawl to Exeter etc be in this position? All they had to do was buy a priority pass?
I'll happily admit that I've bought a priority pass as insurance for the smaller away games or the slight possibility of another Chelsea-type scenario. What's wrong with that? If someone is prepared to put £30 extra into club funds to get first dibs on important away games, why shouldn't they? Especially as the regular away travellers have exactly the same option to to do the same.
