I don't think we'll ever see that 1 to 11 as a starting line up (even once 10 is filled)

I Assumed that the number 10 is a striker so we'd be playing 4-1-3-2 I think. I mean, that would be fun but doesn't strike me as an Adams team!

 

Aaron Wildig had the number 10 shirt at Morecambe last season. It would be interesting if Adams filled that spot with another midfielder. Could be a forward, though.

12 could be anything, but needs to be a defender.

 

Was pretty bloody vacant when he was in it.

 

I can't see us signing another defender, Jon.

Adams seems to have decided Staunton, FCD, Sikora, Kelleher are all good enough if needed.

Threlkeld, Sutton and FCD. More than enough at RB

 

Levi Sutton is a central midfielder, the same way Eisa is a left winger.

In an emergency, I'm sure Sutton could cover at right back, just as Eisa could cover up front.

So by your logic, we don't need any more players - thankfully, Adams doesn't seem to be thinking that way, and appears to have left two positions open judging by the numbers.

If the 10 is likely to be a forward/attacker, what do you think 12 is going to be? Goalkeeper? Defender? Midfielder? ANOTHER striker? What's your take, because it's easy to disagree with people from the sidelines, but what suggestions are you offering?

 

So what position do you think the 12 will be, assuming it's been left open for a reason?

To be fair, Botswana, I've posted about twenty times saying we need a right back, I didn't think it was much of a mystery!

 

Where do you work out we don't need any more players from my 9 word comment on the RB position. Talk about extrapolation.
You have criticised many of the players recruited on here. You can't taken criticism aren't you? We clearly need another striker with a good fitness record. Apart from that its down to Adams to make this orchestra play a good tune.

 

Think it'll be another striker and keeper. Can't see us going into the season with only 2 keepers and I'm not sure who the u18s keeper is or whether he's up to being third choice.

 

That's fun, because on this account you stated that "none of the full back options are good enough" prior to Ridehalgh & Threlkeld signing, a commentary you reinforced about FCD.

So given they're "not good enough" in your opinion, why wouldn't you want another RB?
