It's a myth to think that protesting ever makes a difference as, at the end of the day, someone has to have money to make the change. Possible owners will run a mile if they think they have an unsettled set of customers, i.e. fans - hence why Blackpool constantly get nowhere

I'll give you Coventry, even though they've not improved their position during this time, simply because they've genuinely had it hard for about 10 seasons

Not saying the fans shouldn't be pissed off - but this idea that it's the noble thing to do and if only we all take our placards around to Edin's office it will all change, is naivety in the extreme

LOL! Everyone noticed the 'since the weekend' bit from Edin.

Basically, nobody wanted the job and so we asked around and the guy who serves tea at half time in the McCall suite was a bit interested, but then said no and then at the weekend Collins said he might be interested in the job, but only if the guy who sweeps up in the main stand didn't want the job.

 

Come on @Fordy117 and @Ricc now is the time for you to shine. As I’ve said on other threads, you want R&R out and to protest about it.

Create a thread about it and get organised. Take the lead.

You might think the reaction on here, twitter and the hilarious T&A comments section proportionately reflects the fans

It doesn't. You nearly always get the extreme negative posting comments. The fans who wanted better, but are prepared to give this manager a go and keep faith in the board are likely still to be the majority

You only have to listen to comments at the matches, its amazing how many just turn up for the match and have no interest in what the 'chattering' is outside of them

They'll be surprise, disappointment - but little more

 

I think we all should calm down. Michael Collins has shown he is more than up to the job, he has led our under 18's to a frankly excellent 10th out of 13 teams.

If that doesn't make him a leading candidate I don't know what does.
