Have the social media mouth breathers calmed down yet? They are breathing fire on Twitter and on here. Writing off the manager before a ball is kicked.

Wouldn't it be better to give the bloke a chance and then throw the toys out of the pram when/if he fails?

I think Edin made some great points this morning - all 3 are in and around the team and know the players inside out better than anyone.

 

It just doesn't make sense, these three are presently on the clubs payroll, I'd hope they have had input into the signings, so why has it taken so long to announce them, if as Edin said they wanted to interview all applicants that suggests they thought these guys were at best plan "B", or am I missing something ?.

 

I think he’s surgically attached himself to Edin’s arse via his tongue and can’t detach himself no matter how hard he tries.

We knew quite a while ago that Edin is a 'Clutterfuk' - But this 'team' are of his making, and his alone.
We fans can vent to our hearts content, but the decision has been made, and no doubt a target set.
IF, yes IF, by some chance Edin has hit upon a miraculous formula - then the entire EFL will look upon us in envy. But switch the other way, and City will be relegated by November !
In the meantime - We Fans should back the Club as we always have done. Keep the faith, mate, though hard as it may appear to be at the moment.

 

The big question is what are they actually responsible for, and what input does Edin Rahic now have in footballing matters?

I hope he does well, but I think he's going to be up against it.

 

I've agreed with you on a lot of stuff Sergio but can't on this one. 6 weeks to make an internal appointment involving a coaching team of which two have 0 experience of coaching FL players.

Maybe he buys into Edins strategy, enjoys working with him and just respects his employer?

 

I see Chrlsea could be looking for a new manager if Conte goes. Don’t bother with the likes of Klopp or Guardiola, just give the job to the under 18s coach like Everton did with Unsworth. Yeah that’ll work.

 

It is what it is. It wasn't the first choice, or the second choice but it has happened and until the season starts we do not know how it is going to pan out. It could be a stroke of genius or an absolute disaster.

I agree, but it's a poor appointment either way with no real logic behind it for me. I'm ok with Edins vision, but it just stinks of desperation. Our u18s coach, Drury who only recently had a promotion and Abbott.

 

Are we now interviewing for a new Chief Scout, U18s Coach and Operations Manager?
It wouldn't surprise me if it takes until Christmas and then Edin announces Tinky Winky, Dipsy and Lala.

It was all a ploy Broncs. The illusion of interviewing when in fact he had no intention of offering a job to anyone other than the coaching staff in situ. Makes sense, every single one of them are on the payroll, a slight increase in pay for extra ‘duties’ push James out of the door, or that might be Rupp’s master stroke he never saw the need!! Edin will take his role on. We are now ready to put my vision of how football can be run on a shoestring and still gain promotion.

 

I am excited about the new season. Bring in a couple of decent signings and all this will be forgotten until our first loss of the season!!!
