    I think wires have been crossed somewhere along the line today and that Collins has been offered a full time job at City coaching the kids, but not head coach
    I didn't realise he had still been playing for Halifax last season. Step up to head coach is surely a massive step up too far for him at the moment.

    Trevor cherry had no coaching experience when he came. Same with McFarland and Stapleton. Only difference is they were all quality players who made a difference to the actual team

    Remember when Martin Drury was promoted within the coaching set up and fans started flocking to the bookies to place bets? I think Collins will get a prominent role at City but he won't be head coach.

    Rahic is a smart man, folk may disagree with him but losing Mason and appointing Collins within 24 hours would be suicide.

    Yes, that would seem to make sense. Let's hope that people have jumped to the wrong conclusions! It does say he's quit Halifax to concentrate on coaching with us so let's just hope it's confirmation of him continuing his role.

    One other aspect, if he was to become Head Coach I can't see Halifax being able to release that statement and say he's focusing on coaching with us! Surely both clubs would release statements at similar times if he was doing something more than his current role!

    It looks like 2+2=5. I'm guessing Bradford want Collins on the full time coaching roster but not as head coach. Too many jumping the gun.

    Concur with the suggestion that he'll be part of the first squad coaching team. Either way it certainly does seem an announcement is imminent. Seems a bit of a strange time of day (on a Sunday no less) to tweet such a thing.
