Presumably Vernam and Crankshaw are injured. I would prefer Rowe in place of Cook in that formation because if Donaldson does bring others into play by holding the ball Rowe is the player to shoot from distance.

You would think the lads at Radio Leeds are correct and regards both Crankshaw & Vernam, they must be injured you have to ask why are we getting so many players injured.

If we go from the basis that Vernham and Crankshaw are injured and if we say Stevens hasn't shown enough and Burrell has hardly been on the pitch then we're a bit short of options.

I don't mind Clayton starting. He's been keen to get on from recent interviews so let's give him the first half and see.

Good to see Scales getting another chance. FCD has shown enough to be in the squad next season, let's see if Scales can do the same.

Crap season stopping and starting and several of our players haven't played that much in previous seasons.

From what we're seeing around the club I believe we'll invest in good fitness and conditioning over the season break.

 

If we get a result with that line up, I will have learnt 2 things.
1 Colchester are a worse team than I thought.
2 I know knack all about football.

I think the easy ride that T&S got at the fans forum has made them think that all is well with the fans and, they can get away with playing whoever they like in which ever formation they like.
If I was Danny Rowe I would be tearing my contract up and telling the club where to stick it.

I never like 3 at the back, don’t be shocked if we’re 2-0 down at half time. They’ve got a lively kid on loan from Charlton who will make hay in the space down the flanks.

Well, I nearly got my wish. At least it's something different and I hope it shows that 4-2-3-1 isn't set in stone. Quite looking forward to the game now.

On the subject of Rowe in my opinion he's never been given a run of games were he's played ninety minutes, don't know why and I fail to see why we even signed him.
Absolutely wasted at Bradford.
