I am sure our resident expert wealthy local businessman has a heart and will pay up when he loses. I mean what signal would that send if he continually welches on genuine bets for a cause we all stand behind.

Really? In relative terms, Cooke was not up to the standards of recent times but credit to our opponents. But our defence and goalkeeper were not 'bad'. But nor were our midfield or attack bad. Just not the hefty levels of recent weeks.

It's relative. Cast your mind back to the McCall era when Cooke or whomever were bad.... And we ended up losing many of those games

 

Its a tough one. Personally i would always stick with 4-2-3-1 which mean either Cook or Rowe. Cook played alright today in a misfiring attack.

Long time lurker. First time poster. Just signed up so I can try to figure out how to block 'Fordy' so that I can countenance continuing to read the forum. He must be on the wind up cause nobody could possibly be so, but nevertheless I can take no more.

How do I block please?

Amazing finish by Rowe btw. Sweet strike with the ball coming across him. No doubt Fordy reckons he should have had it on string, recalled it and scored again, or it's not worth it

 

It is a itch i cannot scratch- would love to see Cook and Rowe start as we know both players can score if supplied with chances but T&S are not changing the 4-2-3-1.
When Novak returns, is there no place for him either?

But I have been suffering it - that's why I've signed up. Not since the Spanish inquisition has so much torture been handed out to one so underserving.

 

You'd find it hard to disagree with changing the formation but ironically we saw Stevens best contribution so far this season yes only 11 minutes but he put that delightful cross in that AOC got his head to and if not for a great save from Gilks would have been the equiliser, dare we start the kid playing him instead of Cranshaw (that's not having a pop at the kid) and play Rowe off Cook dropping Vernam to the bench.

 

Your life will improve beyond all expectations when he is on ignore.

 

Where does Callum Cooke play?

 

Yes with little time since January to work with the players - we will fingers crossed - improve with time. With the limited time / relentless fixtures the players are having to play we can be impressed what has been achieved to date. We have not been helped by injuries - Evans is not playing regularly, Pritchard is out for the season, Hossanah not yet ready, Novak has played only a few games and not back for a few weeks and Ismail is still out too.

 

I think Cooke needs a rest on Tuesday. They can play Rowe in Cooke's attacking CM position, which is where he played today when he replaced Cooke.

I think it's more a case of 'if' Novak returns. He had a setback last week. Not expected to be fit until at least April. Be good to have him back as another option, but given his injury record I'd expect him to feature off the bench, perhaps instead of the Don.

 

Gonna have to stop mobbing him when he scores, doesn't like it...just another day at the office for Danny....

 

When we brought on our subs what formation did we go to? Despite conceding shortly after the change we did look like a more offensive unit.

 

I know you don't want to hear this but maybe a rest would do the lad good, today's game looked to be passing him bye, by his standards, he's been MOTH or there about's for most of the games in our recent good run, on the bench and bring him on as and when required, both T&S have said the squad has got to be rotated.
I get what fans are saying with regards Rowe but feel introducing him late in the game is a waste.

 

Why does Cooke need a rest? Connor Wood has played 60 odd consecutive games but no one mentions him needing a rest. He's not feeling fatigued BTW i can tell you that.
