That's what really annoyed me about his signing, the deceit involved. Frankly, we as supporters were lied to and Stuart went down a long way in my estimation after that.

 

Agree entirely.Unfortunately the club failed to tell Samuels what the club line was about his signing and he told the truth.Found about our interest the morning after scoring against us.

 

ha ha when did he say that? I missed that.

 

Cant remember the exact game but it was a Radio Leeds interview and I think everybody who heard it was thinking the same”Final piece of jigsaw “my arse.

 

Stuart also said we had offers for Guthrie. Hmm..

 

Right decision by the club. No point having someone we don't want to play..

Hope he goes back and has learnt something from the experience that helps him push on in his career.

Just too raw for both ours and his needs right now. His appearance against Tonbridge was decent and took his goal well. Also thought he played well at Crawley away. However the situation he found himself in our depleted squad, horrible form and poor management - matched with just simply not looking quite ready for this level just now, means this is definitely the best decision all round.

Hope for him he can get the Coaching and experience he needs and can push on his career.

Now excited to see what we have prepared to replace him.....

Are we starting to really see what a hopeless judge of players the McCall/ Black combo really are ? SOme will argue he got it right mostly last time, but Abbo had a massive input into the that. Rumour was that it was Stuart who signed Middleton/ Guthrie/ Novak as Bowyer claimed to have no knowledge of them (and there is no reason to doubt Bowyer).

Of those only Novak is any good and lets face it he's been around long enough for even David Blunkett to see he wouldn't be a flop.

To date I'm really impressed with how the new broom is working, long may it continue.

 

Some of you really need to stop be soft! He wasn't good enough for us and 100% the right call for the club.

Unfortunately it became very clear that Stuart is incompetent in every aspect of management. It's best for him that he's out of it and I hope for his sake that he never goes back.

Got say I tend to agree. Its bemusing just how wrong his signings were.
