    An actual rumour of Jordan Stevens from Beeston on loan.
    Right Winger been on loan at Swindon this season, previously on loan at Forest Green last year.

    So, if he was under 24 at 30 June 2020, then he won't be deemed to be over 24, under the regulations, until 30 June 2021.

    Yes, the compensation only applies to players under 24 at the start of the season. Wood turned 24 on 17th July 2020 so it's debatable whether he was he was Under 24 at the start of the season. I can't recall how 'start of the season' is defined by the EFL in this situation. It might be 30 June as it does in other parts of the regs or the date of the first game.

    Salary Cap stipulations on payments that are exempt from the cap:

    'Players under 21 are excluded from the cap calculations. Deals agreed before the vote are exempt, as is any renewal of that deal on the same terms if the player is still under 24 at that point.

    There is also a relegated player exemption. Any deal agreed with a player no later than the end of the January transfer window in the season the club are relegated will be taken into account.'

    So if we'd extended before the vote, or before his birthday in July, his costs would be exempt from the cap but now they won't be.....?
