I've said it before but I think people got used to comments coming from at least one of the owners about everything and anything every week. Not sure how other clubs are run but maybe we are as you said moving to a more professional set up.

Rahic is in control of a lot of things but editorial content at the T&A is outside his remit.

His reports are boring because they're controlled but he isn't a Bradford City fan so Bradford City isn't his problem.

Very good point. If we’d been sold to a local consortium and they came in with a long term view on players, fixed the pitch and started putting solid foundations under our castle built on sand, would there be as much dissent? I think not.

Our owners have been consistent in their message and probably more open in telling us things than many previous regimes. Compared to the bob Martin regime they are open, honest and full of integrity.

Give them another year before making a full assessment, Rome wasn’t built in a day and when it was built the infrastructure was put in properly, something many forget that our last owners failed to do.

To be fair the message from lawn was always how little cash we had, and on the odd occasion that the T&A printed anything from Rhodes it was always the same five year old interview rejigged.

The T&A didn’t even have an up to date picture of Rhodes to use, they printed the same five year old one every time where his hair was dark rather than badger grey as it was at the end
