68% doing feck all productive whilst the opposition every week are actually doing things to hurt us when they have the ball.
You could have 99% possession but if you lose 1-0 it’s still zero points and still glaring at relegation to oblivion

He obviously didn't see Leicester City win the Premier league with an average possession in the 30s.

This is spot on. As underwhelming as our strategy for this season was - which was clearly just to ride out the season whilst minimising costs - to have not created a squad that could safely navigate the shocking standard of this league in the comfort of mid-table, is abysmal planning and execution by the club. I said it weeks ago; this is the worst squad I can ever remember us having. Worse even than the Jacko squad. It doesn’t have the resilience even be dour bout solid. And I have to say, McCall isn’t the sort of manager you want in a grind.

We are lacking in quality. That isn't going to change unless/until we bring in reinforcements in January. Until then we need more effort and fight from this group of players if we are to stand any chance of picking up the odd points here and there. I saw that from them tonight and I welcome it.

Normal issue. We have soft and easy possession and think its good. Some delusional people even think it reflects dominance.

The opposition have a physical team, score a winner from a long throw and sit 2nd in the league. Do we learn anything?

scunthorpe have scored 5 tonight we wont get 5 between now and the new year, when you cant score enough and cant defend there is only 1 way this club is going no club in any league would reward a manager with a new contract except us

SMc has proven at both VP and Scunny that he struggles when his team is under the cosh. He's not the one who can change the mindset and tactics of a team to grind out 1-0 wins when the need requires it. Thast's an enormous worry when we're in the position we are.

it was slightly better tonight, could not be any worse though.
Bre should have scored with that early chance and i still think the shove on the Don early doors was a pen , the ref was awarding free kicks for similar challanges.
All that said Stuart wanted the smaller squad and we are now paying the price. January is massive , lets hope for once we get it right or that its not too late.

And we showed how to lose.

Look we are in deep deep trouble and if any game highlighted it then it was this game.

We huffed and puffed managed to score but you just knew that we would still lose the game. I didn't see 2 goals in us but I saw us losing 2 goals.

We lack quality on the ball and clueless on it. To top it off we put BRE upfront like its 1970(wasn't born in the times but seems like it happened in them days) and we didn't have any idea. It was POOR.

So now another defeat. 21st in the league! Manager been rewarded for failure. A joke of CEO appointment! An embarrassment of an owner. The club is a MESS!

I don't think we will go down but wouldn't be shocked. Bradford City deserve to go down! The club is a joke!

Lots more effort, first half was decent, we were the better side. Lovely assist from Cooke, matched by a through ball to Hosannah. Two best moments in the game. The late goal first half hurt badly, but as I said, Hussey had the freedom of the city down our right side and was involved in the equaliser. Second half was less impressive as fitness waned, but the level of commitment was decent. To go down to a long throw outlines everything we already know - other teams have simple and repeatable routes to victory. We do not. Everything is a struggle. The games are hard work, and a lack of quality all over the pitch hampers us endlessly.

From random simple balls going horribly wrong, to a lack of shape, to being lopsided and vulnerable on the wings, to players like DMH being passengers, to the substitutions weakening us immensely...

If the squad sets out like that every game, they WILL pick up wins - but in an unreliable manner. Getting thrashed or losing unluckily was the expectation today, and so it came to pass. It just doesn't feel like anyone at Bradford City has enough urgency to address the massive gaps and glaring weaknesses properly, and a bit of 'bad luck' post January could see us out of the league

    Complacency has already killed us.

Set up the system less that 2 hours before kick off?

What sort of admission is that? Are we actually the Dog and Duck?
