Yet 1 league defeat - the only league game we were actually second best in - and a heavy cup defeat following a horrendous 45 mins justifies people calling for McCall's dismissal?!

Granted we might not have been the better team in 75% of the games. But we have been equal to or better than out opponents in 75% of the games. If these are early indications for the season ahead, it would suggest to me we are going to be competitive and looking upwards rather than down.

I also agree with this view. It is always important to maintain ambition. Having the correct mindset is so crucial to success in all walks of life.

The moment you accept your current situation is the moment you stop ambition, drive and determination.

This is true but they won't.

The PL have offered money and the government will have to bail out clubs.

Either way Bradford City's aim still have to be to go up. If not might as well give in like Grimsby have.

You’re making it up as you go along.

The PL offer came with strings and has been rejected.

The government has just voted to not give kids free school meals over Christmas, what makes you think they’re pouring money in to a sport that spent over a billion on transfer fees in the summer and £250m plus a year on agents. They fell out with Manchester over £5m, there’s no way they’ll give money to a load of millionaire owners. fecked if I want my taxes spent on bailing out Crawley Town and Gillingham.

You know what he's like if he thinks something in his head it's going to happen only to be the opposite in the end.

Give them some of your money..About time you spent some.

Stop worrying. The aim of Bradford City has to be league 1 football next season..End of!

A conservative government can probably be persuaded to gift millions to millionaires while stiffing the hospitality industry and children placed into financial difficulty through no fault of the family.

Actually wouldn't be a whopping surprise.

I don’t want him to be sacked. There’s no one I’d want more to bring success and build a legacy than Stuart. The trouble is, he’s starting to build an “us and them” environment between the fans and the players. I get he doesn’t like criticism, but he has no empathy it seems with the supporters.
You never heard Ferguson or Wenger criticise any part of their club, even if it was blindingly obvious to the outside world.

If he continues in this manner, having a go at the fans instead of bringing us along with him, then it will get very ugly, very quickly if the results start to fail. Something I’d hate to see.

I seem to remember him falling out with fans a few times , Exeter away springs to mind and also Dagenham away when he came over at the end and apologised to everyone . It’s not something new he can't take criticism at all .

The McCall out calls are clearly ridiculous, in such a situation whoever is in charge needs to be given at least until the end of next season. Chopping and changing in the current climate just makes no sense whatsoever and now is a time more than ever before for stability.

I can also agree with the "equal to or better" no problem but that wasn't the posters original point. I also believe, like you, we'll be competitive and if we can somehow find a striker and a decent wide player I think we've got the makings of a realistic promotion push.

Got to remember how bad it was under Bowyer, this team moves the ball about well, just need to be more clinical upfront. through no fault of the strikers themselves, we've ended up with no balance in the three starters. Donaldson really only one that you could partner Samuels up with. Who on earth was responsible for that January transfer window....

Totally agree but on Tuesday the fact that Guthrie was thrown on instead of Samuels when we needed a goal gives me very little confidence that he wasn't just a cheap panic signing to boost numbers and keep the "moaners" quiet.

Novak looks capable of 10 to 15, Donaldson maybe 10 so unless Clarke or a.n other can supplement that we still look too light in the goals department to be serious challengers.

it seems the biggest thing that has been forgotten by the club and management staff is that there's never been a better chance to get out of league two than this season..

clubs (unfortunately) going to the wall, lack of investment by many, no stand out team who you think will run away with it like in previous seasons. with a little more forthright and planning we could have had a real good go of it this season; the off-season was the longest in post war history and gave us ample time to get our house in order.. but it seems like as soon as last season was halted, this season was given up on too (pretty much confirmed in Rhodes' interview last week). good clubs are ruthless and pounce when others are weaker - we just accepted a season of nothing.

Rupp probably feels like he has fallen for that one before. We are as skint as the rest of them, prob even worse due to the huge ground rent on an empty building.

We the fans can see this, why can't those in a position to actually do something see it?

We're not being given the true picture, for whatever reason.

The rent is not that different to what Walsall and Cambridge pay. Might be £50k in it but it’s not hundreds of thousands more
