Weren’t you the one complaining about the government using a one size fits all approach and now your complaining when they chop and change to suit a fluid situation. If they had the data, like flu, you might be right about some of the decisions they’ve made, but no government in the world has all the answers to this disease. Until the vaccine arrives, it’s all guess work on how to proceed.

I’m not sure how pre-testing before a game will be managed. Are we able to capture whether you’ve been to the game or not? What if you decide not to go, but test positive. Do they quarantine people you would have sat next to had you been there? That’ll go down like a lead balloon...

@Fordy117@Fordy117 for prime minister I say....

It will be interesting to see how they get on at Doncaster races this week. They are allowing 6000 spectators in for the St.Leger

You clearly are not up to date with things around the world.

The French Open tennis have just announced that fans will be allowed in up to 5k but have to show the results of a negative test before and have wear masks throughout watching.

I suppose on entry you will have to show id like your passport and then your negative test result. If you can't do that then you won't be allowed in the venue...Is that hard for you to understand?

What are you talking about if we haven't the data? We have the data and the date is bloody clear. Those that are over 70 at high risk. Even Hanncock has said that 17-21 might not get ill from this at all but it's the grandads or grannys. So most of us could should crack on as normal and to be fair should be.

The leaders seem to using the covid situation to highlight their power and control over people. The over 70's on here act like everything is fine, so let people make their own decisions. Why we letting one of the worst leaders this country has seen control us? 12 u turns. The man is a liability to the country.

France has an Identity Card system. The identity card is non-compulsory, but everyone must have form of valid government-issued identity documentation. https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/content/download/1958/13719/version/3/file/Code_34.pdf

You keep pushing this non sense if you believe it will happen do you fancy putting a £10 bet on it, you know my take on it with regards ageism it wont happen especially now fans have purchased season ticket.
With regards testing I've had two one that came back withing 15 hours of taking the test and another I needed before having the camera down which neither I or the BRI got conformation of a negative or positive result, yet they still went ahead with the examination.

Get off you high horse...I was talking about how far a person can travel to a game. Nothing to do with age but now you mention it..It does seem that we are dancing around the over 70's but the over 70's want to dance, so let's just crack on!

I am in my fifty's and a grandad three times over. Lets not have any ageism here. LOL.
I can not see a problem for anyone who wants to attend games, no matter what there age.
with arrival times , departing by rows , no kiosks . wearing of masks until in your seat and the social distancing , you should be fine. With the reduced capacity and masks , public transport will also be ok.

OK so you're now saying fans who travel to games, that would prevent the likes of @Dennis@Dennis @Bigrod@Bigrod, @Hulmebantam@Hulmebantam, @Hoochy-Min@Hoochy-Min, @Skyebantam@Skyebantam and many many more including yourself as you tell us you don't live in Bradford or the Bradford area, how ironic would that be Bradford City's fountain of knowledge with regards everything is at home watching the game on Ifollow.

    Ive dismounted now.

By “cracking on” as you put it, is the reason the cases are rocketing up and increasing the potential for further lockdowns. As a club we seem to have a high number of elderly supporters who I’d imagine would like to return to the stadium when it’s safe to do so. With your attitude it’ll probably be in the new year...

@Fordy117@Fordy117 at what point do you get tested for a saturday game though for example?

A test on tells you if you had/have covid at the time of the test doesnt it. I can be tested wednesday and catch it friday yet still get a text or whatever to say my test was negative which would then allow me to attend the game, potentially putting others at risk.

I get what you are saying, however relying on testing to attend events isnt without drawbacks

Yes, as I said the PL will be doing local sales only and I am sure many from London travel to Manchester to see Utd.

Problem with you is that you want the world to just tick over as normal but then want everyone to dance around round.

To get things moving again people will have to give things up it seems.

One last point on this. If the 18 to 30 years olds, don't start abiding by the rules, everyone could find themselves , unable to attend for quite a long time yet. No matter there age.

Nothing will be prefect because the government doesn't have this world beating track and trace.

The testing before the game will help because it gives peace of mind that everyone is negative in the venue. You are correct unless you live in a football bubble which is test then go home then yes you might pick it up again but I suppose the government are hoping come October the results come back quicker(90 mins) so fans will be able to get tested on the day or the day before.

I won't be shocked if Bradford City inform everyone that you need a test before entering the ground.
