Season ticket sales

I think it’s clear you can see the match on I follow included live not included

 

All feels quite messy this tbh.
For me the best solution would be guaranteed ifollow access for all games
Excess tickets at £15 standard or £5 to season ticket holders (don't think you will get people paying full prices until restrictions are lifted).
Once / if restrictions are fully lifted then it is back to normal but the govt needs to support ifollow access for the full season

 

This applies when the capacity is below the number of season ticket holders, once that is surpassed then all season ticket holders get to see every game. This works both ways as if every game was behind closed doors then you get access to no games.

 

Yes yes I get it know what the terms and conditions are. The only thing I don't know is how many games I will get for £150 depending on claret and Amber and where I will be sat.

Lets be honest it is not that important to know how many types of ST's have been sold unless you are the inland revenue.

 

There won't be 23 games up for grabs, only those from when some fans allowed back...

 

This was always the case, not knowing how many live games your £150 will get you. This has always been clear and was the reason I opted not to renew.

Hopefully, I will get chance to pay for individual games at some stage of the season.

 

Where it states that ifollow is discontinued once all season ticket holders are able to be allowed into the ground.

Don't worry it says this on the Bradford City website so you can praise it as a good idea, you wouldn't be going against the club in doing so.

 

Well reading this and use of the words ‘each of’ not ‘some of’ I take it as getting all games on Ifollow, I get the only half in person claret vs amber

‘These codes will be supplied individually - on a match-by-match basis - and will allow season-ticket holders to watch each of the Bantams’ 2020/21 Sky Bet League Two home fixtures LIVE.’

However, the sales of 13800 are of two different products. They are not alike.

Maybe its me but when the season tickets went up for sale for 20/21, the implication was c7k of claret and c7k of Amber season tickets would be available. If we had sold 13800 season tickets last season, not much wiggle room for those prior season ticket holders having doubts about the forthcoming season, knowing if a huge majority purchased, few if any match day tickets would be available. A possible play on the mindset of the undecided customer, you may agree?

As the club state : With the Utilita Energy Stadium’s capacity set at approximately 7,000 for the foreseeable future, it is a possibility that individual match tickets could then be made available for each home league fixture - on a game-by-game basis - should season-ticket sales figures prove lower than they were ahead of the 2019/20 campaign (approximately 13,800).

So for me, its a little bit of deliberate marketing with nous attached but also, at the same time a little disingenuous.

I like transparency. Flexi tickets ain't season tickets. Different products.

 

Of course once all season ticket holders are admitted that’s a different thing than when we are operating under the claret and amber arrangements.

 

Except it wasn't always the case. I bought my season ticket as soon as they went on sale, before all of this malarkey started. I am happy to accept that things are beyond City's control, however the least I can expect is that I will get access to ifollow for all the home league matches. If fans are allowed back in, I don't want to find that because I am allocated a seat in the lower part of the T L Dallas stand next to Charlie that the ifollow option is removed!

 

So the bar is 9k. And we expect the bar to start at 7k, so it wouldn't take much movement to reach 9k. Maybe a 7% increase in capacity.

Or you look after your core supporters & offer 2 games in 3 with s/ts. Rather than 1 in 2. Bought our season tickets back in January. If the s/ts are too cheap now, but the prices up for next season but for this season to not offer more games to s/t holders vs those who attend on a whim or pick and choose games is a kick in the teeth.

Next season put the prices up to £295 and finally end the 25 year ticket millstone.

 

Wouldn't be shocked if the PL tried to claw back solidarity payments based on the reduction of income from the cancellation

 

@Allotment Bantam - I was thinking about this sort of thing earlier. Not a season ticket holder so haven't read the ins and outs but surely if they open it up after a while, you will all default to the seats you had last season? (Given they have only sold to last season's holders).
