I think it's clear that once City announce and launch the season tickets, complete with the confirmed iFollow details, we are going to get quite a few questions regarding the best ways of accessing matches, with all sorts of complicated setups.

We are truly heading into what is probably the most bizarre season in the Football League's history, where the conversation has shifted from where to park, nearest railway station, best pubs etc. to smart TVs, apple, airplay, HDMI etc.

One thing I will be doing, as we approach the new season, is trying to build some sort of match day routine. It won't be anything like the same as going to matches but I am determined to make the best of the situation I find myself in.

Our group of six buy our STs a a three, a two and a singleton. It's highly unlikely we'll all be ambers or clarets and in any event two of the group because of the personal situations have said they can't go to the games until there is a reliable vaccine. In the meantime, we'll just meet up for our usual pre-match meal and get together even if none iof us are intending going to the game. That will become our new routine even though we all have long round trip journeys.

Can you not pay for ifollow If you don’t get a season ticket? Like ad hoc games you fancy? Seems we’d miss out on some income if it was fixed to season ticket holders only?

It looks like you will have the choice, a £150 season ticket to cover (maybe) all the home matches or £10 per match.

Away matches may need to be purchased at £10 each for everyone.

Yea I'm sure you could just buy random games if you like I think its something like £10 per game but maybe someone who has used it before could confirm this.

Another point needing clarity, my guess would be you can (for now anyway) but still so many unanswered questions...

You know what we shoild do ? Scrap this Claret & Amber idea. Its going to cause more problems than not. On the clear evidence we will be lucky to shift 8000 tickets. Interest plummeted in the team; the stadium is slap bang in Covid Central and many of us will be thinking twice about stepping back down there. For me I havent put a foot in Bradfird for nigh on 6 months !. I've been in Scunthorpe more often ! and thats once to the only UK Speedway fixture since March !.

So scrap Claret & Amber and just sell season tickets first come first served. If I miss out I"m not going to kick up any fuss. I have already written off this season anyway. If and when we all go back all I ask is that my regular seat is there for me to take up. Always assuming the club has not folded which of course it could I suppose ?

I honestly do not think we will sell more than 7-8000 on a fcfs basis so that should allow all those who want to go back in October to attend most home games. See one miss one is just adding another layer of uneccessary hassle. Sell them till we hit the new limit and then rest of us just social distance from City until better times. Should be plenty of Covid zombie land football on TV or simply support a club at Tier 7 or below. Steeton here I come at lesst it should look more like football and a whole lot less hassle. Good luck to everyone.

Having had chance to think about things this would be my way of looking at it. I'm not really interested in a half home game season ticket where you could potentially end up with your allocated games against the shite teams.

Agree with @BSABantam74@BSABantam74 point about splitting the ST's into claret and amber, no point in doing this if there is less than 7,000 take up.
Three weeks to go and still not on sale but will there be a cut off point this season at £150?
If the numbers are poor then the club keeps the offer going all season, why not?

Didn't someone say it might be as high as allowing 50% of fans into home games ?.

Ifollow are just a company employed by clubs to do their streaming. So if clubs have been given permission then that means iFollow do. IFollow are not rights holders they just provide a service for the clubs that opt in to the service

Which ever way city decide to go , with the sale of tickets. You will still get the moaners, damned if you do, damned if you dont.
Its certainly going to be intresting. I wonder how they might work it, if capacity is set at 8000, about 30% and we sell circa 9000 season tickets. How does the claret and amber work then. I am glad that i am not the one making the decisions.

If the governments recommendation is 30% and as you say that should allow 8,000 in I believe we wont get more than 8,000 with the the situation as it is, so I'm hopeful we'll all be able to attend.
If it's more as you say then they will have to make a decision bearing in mind many as myself go with the grandson I don't want to be attending home games where we not attending together, even if that means were not sat together, this is not going to be easy for the club with less than 3 weeks to League kicking off.
