We weren't doing well in performance terms though. Watching the games live you could sense we'd ridden some luck and it didn't seem like we were capable of sustaining it.

 

The point is in the games immediately before his injury we were starting to get it together Donaldson and Vaughan were forging a partnership and Pritchard was doing pretty well out on the left wing over the four or five up to and including the game he was injured the goals were going in

 

Didn’t stop him being instrumental in helping others playing in leagues lower than his previous seasons. He brings more to the team than just goals just like stead who scored 6 in 32 Donaldson scored 4 in 20

 

Tbh I've long since written Gutless off ? If Vaughan does go we have two forwards Nogoalvak & Donaldontiho both havent got 15 goals between them and are just way too immobile ? Infact Immobile he was a decent Italian forward for all that !. We need to bring in a pacey striker Stuart has to see this especially if Vaughan is on his way.

 

A poor signing indeed but it doesn’t stop the “give the lad a chance” brigade from coming out in their numbers!
