I think that Bowyer didn't use him correctly or any other forward to that matter but I am not having we won't be looking to get him off the wage bill like we did with Doyle.

Vaughan is on £3k a week. Estimated £1.3k will count towards salary cap.

Salary budget is £1.5m and we are voting against it. Our wage budget last year was £2.5m. There is wriggle room.

 

I don't believe we are 'looking' to move Vaughan on. However, every player has his price, particularly at this level and you are more than aware of that which is why you can say people are living in dream land because if the right offer comes in and he leaves you can say you were right, it does not mean we are trying to move him on. Under the proposed salary cap Vaughan can fit under the restraints and, if managed right, can play a huge part in getting us out of this league. A lot of things said in the forum tonight that highlight how tough things have been after mismanagement of a couple of years ago and the current climate and how people are working to try and make things better.

I would suggest the dream land people are more those who cite Liverpool, a global entity with a huge pull in terms of fan base and a wealth of other reosources, think City can even exist on the same level right now.

I am not sure how I am contradicting myself? I believe we are not looking to move Vaughan on but I understand that if we receive an offer which we can't turn down then we would accept it, this is common place throughout football. Unless I have contradicted myself elsewhere?
