I think what they should do is anyone found out of a 5 miles radius of where they live without a very good reason is just slap them with a £60 fine if it's a family of 4 that's £240 plus if they are in a car take the car off them compound it and tell them they can collect it when everything is back to some sort of normality but you'll be getting charged £50 per day storage aswell.

I see China have sent over 300 ventilators. Send ‘em back where they came from, more than likely riddled with corona bats blood and 5G spying equipment.

Doesn’t sound like ‘going on the attack’ to me. I’d expect entirely this sort of approach from the leader of the opposition. Seems balanced and fair:

Sir Keir said: ‘I do think getting the balance right is important here. We have got to be constructive, we have got to pull together, support the government where it is right to do so but asking those difficult questions matters.

‘You can see that when the difficult questions were asked on testing things began to move, same thing with equipment on the frontline.’

Writing in the Sunday Times, Sir Keir had said: 'There will be many times when, and there are many issues upon which, I will fundamentally disagree with the Prime Minister.

'However, there will also be times when Labour can - and must - engage constructively with the government.

'Now is such a time. Coronavirus is a national emergency. It is also a global emergency. Everyone is anxious about what the next few months will bring, but we know we must be resolute in our determination to see this virus defeated, as it will be.

That's in The Times. In other papers he's talked about how Boris has made mistakes etc etc.

A friend posted this, you can only hope it's a hoax and was not a video taken yesterday, the government telling us London is the epicentre of this virus.

Looks like some can't resist point scoring.

However, Angela Rayner, who was elected as Labour’s deputy leader, sounded a more cautious note, telling the Sophy Ridge show: “It’s all right for people who’ve got big houses and huge back gardens to say that, but if you’re stuck in inadequate accommodation, you’ve got no back garden, nowhere to go, and you’re on top of each other, people should do social distancing, but also be reasonable and proportionate about that.”

Oh dear Anglea you just dont seem to grasp the situation, some wouldnt be happy if they had a garden as big as an acre they would still want to push the boundaries :x3:.

    Lockdown London then.

No tube, no construction work(apart from NHS work) no public transport.

Just think that if 80% of the population are following the rules great but can't punish all.

You'll get people breaking rules fine or no fine.

The main thing is testing, testing, testing, building more hospitals in quick time and an end sight with a bit of positivity thrown in.

We know people will die but we have gone from wash your hands to can't see family & friends and that's tough for all.

It's not just London though it's throughout the UK so lockdown everywhere will soon become a possibility. Don't you find it strange that the pollution in most places have gone down but in bradford they have gone up so it's not just down south its around these parts aswell.

But it doesn't mean they're sunbathing in parks mate.

Yes, might be in cars but I don't see that as a big deal as long as people are not travelling far.

It means people are not doing as asked ie stay indoors or risk full lockdown now that will piss most folk off because others think it doesn't apply to them.

Just read it, but unfair when they collected data from 17-24 March, and the lockdown didn’t start till the 23rd March, it makes no sense at all that pollution went up, none at all, the roads are dead.

Scottish Chief Medical Officer has been warned by police for going to her holiday home the past two weekends.

Can not even stick to her own rules
