Bruckner is raw and a lot to learn but nowhere near as bad as you want him to be,but so is Gibson who everyone is happy to see extend his contract. Be patient with both players.

I'd prefer to he extending the likes of Wykes contract, these two will be on peanuts, get Charlies agent rung and tell him we have an extended new 2 year deal with increases in his salary and bonuses.

From what I've seen of Bruenker he isn't good enough, and I'm not sure he will be. Granted he has an ok first touch and decent acceleration for a big guy, but not much else, he'll never be a goal scorer I'm 95% sure of that.

Plus aren't we as a club try to implement a certain style of play, he had his uses in the hoofball team we saw at the end of the season, but I doubt he has enough ability to play in a ball playing one.

We need far better.

 

The most well-reasoned criticism of Brünker I have read. You mention good and bad points. I don't entirely agree with you but will be looking out for the points you raise if he plays next season.

 

At a time when effort was required, he put a shift in - embarrassed his ‘supposedly’ more talented teammates. He ain’t the best, but at least he keeps going, unlike most of the 2017/2018 ‘bottlers’
