Is that a flat price or is that for early bird renewals?

I was going to say we pay £330 for the Town end and £370 for the Side stands if we renew early. If you are a new season ticket holder its £360 and £400 respectively.

    avg att 10,000 x £150 is £1.5mil for the 19/20 season
ava att 6,000 x £350 is £2.1mil for the 19/20 season (If we take a kind of average from the differing prices)

Hi Bronco, not sure you can say something was ‘correct at the time’ it was either correct or it wasn’t, or you don’t know yet.

There is no discounts to renew here. They just offer the discount rate and this year it runs out in June I think it is. It is unusual for them to launch prices so early though. I think they go up to full price of around £300 after that.

It is something many of us have felt uncomfortable about for a while (cheap tickets) because fans have got used to it and are likely to moan if they put them back up in future, though that is what they need to be doing. The club defend the policy by saying they'd rather have 20,000 in than 10,000 but the reality is that, under Boreyer, we'll not even get 10k next season and those 10k who do stay on board will be paying half the normal market rate.

Aye. Fans moan if the cup ties are priced at more than a tenner. How the club can keep on charging below £200 baffles me though. £250 is only £10.86 a match and could easily be justified charging that by quoting that cost per game figure. Nobody could complain at £10.86 per match, especially when the club offer the finance deals/pay monthly options. The problem is we've got so used to £150 and the like that it seems a big jump to go back to £250 ish. Especially when the fans aren't behind the manager at the moment.

Not what you know mate but who ya know ;).
As Doyle didn't do the business for us anyone who scores is an upgrade (and that's not meant as a pop at the lad), surprised about the Vaughan situation and to be fair to the lad has been pretty consistent in a poorly performing team, so yes that won't be easy, but hopefully allowing him to leave Bowyer will have a good idea of who he wants as his replacement.
Tonight will be a test but nothing we cant over come.

Rhodes has a track record of saying we’ve done ‘good business’ in Jan and having overseen crap business.
    Eg last January

Hope this is not a repeat.

It's cheap football without a doubt but we don't come from the affluent South :), there are a few on here who moan that we don't pay enough and that restricts the quality of player we can bring in, what they fail to say is if they feel the price the club are asking us to pay is too low they have the facility to make a donation to the club, do they ?, do they chuff.
The club have had this cheap season ticket offer going for around 13 years we get very good crowds ranging from 12,000 to 18,000 over the years, and the club prefer a large stadium like ours to be fuller at £149 than a half empty stadium at £250/£300 plus the club get the benefit of more fans buying foot and drink before and after the game as well as selling more merchandise.

Football in the local park is free, it doesn’t mean you’d go watch it?
    Why not?
    Because it’s poor quality.

just because something is cheap doesn’t make it attractive. I’d rather pay £500-600 for a ST if my team was in the Premier League

I’m one of those few you speak of, it does massively affect the playing budget when prices are so low.
However, I’m not gonna ‘donate’ another £100-£150 because it would make no difference at all. To make a difference we need 10000 fans paying £250-300 and I’m sure we’d see better quality on the pitch.

Dont be putting that stuff on our forum, some will be getting heart attacks,
However, we currently have 14,000, which times £150 equals you guessed it, £2.1 million.
    Funny that!
Might struggle to hold onto the 14,000- which isn't so funny.

We have been through this countless times on here. We won't get 10,000 fans paying £300 in Bradford, not immediately and not in League 2. The result would be a wholesale drop in season ticket holders. Many in Bradford are not well off, it is a fact we have to live with.

But didn't we sell 15k at £150 in 2007? Great initiative but £150 in 2007 is the same as £210 now! That's the absolute minimum we should be charging & we'd still be no further forward than 2007 if we sold £15k.

I just saw on Sky, Swindon have signed a striker on loan. Didn’t catch his name. Wasn’t Doyle.
    The plot thickens!
