Yes, someone else said this earlier - the Doyle thing is a mess. We weren't scoring, he was. Huge clamour to bring him back, the club then did. Now he's going again after three games.

This is worrying.

But as I said to someone else before, if that happened in isolation, it's probably not entirely unpredictable. But it's not in isolation, and he is going alongside our own top scorer.

It's outrageous management.

 

The recall of Doyle was the start of our poor form we did well over Christmas even with the sickness bug and we got a great point at Swindon. Our worst performances of the season have had Doyle in the side. However I must admit I would be disappointed to see Vaughan leave because we were doing well when him and Donaldson were a partnership

Disagree. When Reeves came back it started to go wrong.

What about the away performances since October?

 

We had a good Christmas with Reeves in the team. Crawley Scunthorpe and Mansfield have all been poor and they all featured Doyle. It doesn’t do to have unhappy players in a squad

 

I must have missed him playing against FGR, Carlisle, Crewe, Plymouth, Macclesfield and Orient then.

Look Vaughan is the captain and normally a captain speaks for the players.

It's clear that from an attacking point of view it's been disappointing. Didn't Bowyer himself highlight the players in midfield were not doing what he wanted them to do? Reeves and Palmer? And the ball kept going backwards and sides(tends to happen often when Reeves plays)

Point is the situation is concerning because it seems Bowyer has lost the dressing room and you can't recover from that but the fans suffer like on Saturday.

Doyle we had to bring back. The issue is though like Vaughan, McCartan and any forward that plays for us Bowyer can't get a tune out of and I can't blame him if he wants out but people sayings Rhodes decision to sell not Bowyer's.

It's a mess and the best solution is for Bowyer to leave. He just isn't the answer for the club in the long term.. wasting time keeping him.

It wont be the first time a player has been made the scapegoat for a run of bad form, but I'm with you Doyle isn't the one to blame for our resent drop in performance.

The players are unhappy because they are playing for a moron who doesn't have a clue. I've never seen such clueless antics from a manager in my time watching City. No tactics, no strategy, no plan B I'm not even going to start on the attacking intent as it's been done to death. Saw a picture doing the rounds of GB when we are 2-0 down on Saturday, stood looking gormless with his hands in his pockets. He's done and so is this team. There's no way back for him.
