    100%

Unless Rhodes wants to leave and Rupp wants more pressure on him it makes no sense at all.

Not madness at all, if Doyle going back to Swindon means he could help them beat ours and their rivals I dont see a problem, and it they win the league so what there are still two more auto places get a grip lad for some reason you dont seem able to grasp logic.

Because in the games we've had Doyle back with us the guy looks like a fish out of water not even feeding on scraps, we failed to supply any sort of chances so at times we see him dropping back as far as the halfway line to try and get the ball.
Do we keep a non scoring striker because hes scored 23 goes for another club, it doesn't make sense.

Thanks, but I think people might be reading too much into that.

Unless I've missed something, he's basically just saying that every player has his price, and he doesn't seem to be talking about Doyle specifically.

    I hope I'm wrong.

I think even if he did go back to Swindon it doesn't automatically mean he will continue to score for them. His partner has now gone and I know they play to his strengths but if it did happen I'd be massively suprised if he couldn't his scoring form.

Very little in that audio clip Bowyer says nothing I would expect from a manager, the one thing I did agree on was any deals need doing before the last few days of the window closing.

Your posting on a Bradford City forum we do have a few posters who don't live in the real world, you work them out ;).

    He's not a non-scoring striker , that's the whole point. He's already got 23 goals this season.
If you we're offered a striker in Jan who'd already scored over 20 goals you wouldn't turn it down Brocs.

Boreyer is the issue at hand.He needs to adapt and plainly either can't or won't.

Once again if Doyle returns and does not start scoring then that could also be a bonus for us a fee from Swindon and Doyle fails to deliver, 3 auto places to play for ;).

He is with us, unless I've missed something.

Of course you would expect someone with Doyle's scoring record this season he should score for any team he plays for, but he isn't, now is that down to Bowyer or the players around him. [/QUOTE]

Think @The Original EB@The Original EB needs to get his ears checked out. How on earth he thinks from that Doyle will leave I will never know:

    1) Bowyer says not been approached for any of our players. ANY!
    2) Players have to get used to new players coming back and how they play (meaning Doyle)
    3) Doyle and McCartan worked well and it's something I want to work on.
    4) Funds available

He said about the transfer window that a player could leave in the last hour if the owner thinks it's too good to turn down then we have to work with that but that's the transfer window. All managers say this.

We figured out maths wasn't you strong point the other day.

Swindon will drop like a stone without Doyle and Yates. Already Exeter have caught them.Plymouth will be on the same points if they win their games in hands.

3 automatic spots are still open. Why would you want to strengthen rival to make it just two spots?

What school did you go too?

Our concern is us and our form. 3 points from 12 is unacceptable! We concentrate on ourselves and be more attack minded then we will catch and overtake Swindon.

Exeter and Plymouth are the only teams to worry about based on current form. The rest will take points off each other but we need to try to look up not down. Look to other take Swindon because even though they are the weak team at the minute. Lost 40 goals replaced with one that's scored 3 in about 30.. That hurts! The fans know they're weak hence how desperate they act to get Doyle and believe anything about Yates and Doyle returning.

Our form won't see us go up though or finish in the play offs. We can't afford to get rid of Doyle or any goal scorer at the minute and I don't think Rhodes/Rupp's are foolish enough to do so!

Yet you won't take the bet, which sounds a little strange from a fan with your tack on all things Bradford City. go on @Fordy117@Fordy117 take the bet, or you'll have even less street credibility than you have now .

You're the one that defends Bowyer like he's Pep but then you talk madness at strengthen a rival that are at the top of the table.

Do you hear about Fulham wanting to sell any of their players to Leeds or West Brom? No! It's utter foolish talk when you know the teams above a likely to drop points.

I keep saying we have the squad to go up but it's the manager. Our form isn't great but it's only Bowyer that stops this team going up as I firmly believe you give our squad to most manager we wouldn't be falsely at the top like Swindon are now.. we could be top and looking at div 1.

We need to concentrate in on us! Swindon are rubbish!

Now, if the media, Rhodes and people like yourself stop dancing around Bowyer and ask questions why he's so negative and how he's going to make us more attacking then I would be more confident but I watch us and Bowyer's tactics are painful but I believe the league is bad. Next 2 games are massive for us! Tomorrow's game is huge.. we need 3 points!

It's madness. If you offered these lot the top scorer (BY A MILE) in January and all you have to do is pay his wages (that you have already been paying anyway) they'd bite your hand off.

Yet they act like giving him back to Swindon will do us a favor? Swindon are JOINT TOP on 53 points and in poor form compared to those chasing them (who have games in hands). They're not Liverpool and 20 points clear ffs. They've just lost Yates and people want to throw them a lifeline. Absolutely baffling. Then they say "well he can't be that good he hasn't scored for us" when we have 1.8 shots on target a game. Aguero wouldn't bloody score for us with the way we play.

You offer these lot some lad in the National League who's scored 8 in 23 and they'd be absolutely over the moon and announcing promotion. 23 goals in 22 games in the same league as us? Nah just give him away.

Spot on this @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler called that Yates will be recalled.

Why would Bradford City be foolish enough to help a rival that's no good without Doyle and will be even worse without Doyle and Yates?

Can't see Rhodes and Rupp being that stupid.

We need to concentrate on us and Bowyer needs to improve his coaching.
