Also he said that they said to Yates if you were playing as the 9 it would of been you that would of had 23 goals.

Seems to mean that Yates is Doyle's replacement.

Only a fool thinks we haven't done the right thing in recalling him.. Wellens said he would of done the same!

It's absolutely not done. As many of us have told you before, what Wellens says and does are 2 completely different things.

Broadbent and Yates both said in interviews after today's game that they hope Doyle is back at the end of January.

Listen, i'm not for one moment suggesting he WILL come back, i just find it baffling how you are completely ruling out the possibility. You can't even entertain the idea.

I'd think about swapping our position and style for that of Swindon. Wouldn't you?

I'll give you credit as a team you're attacking this weak league and with Yates as the 9 I think Wellens is right that he will replace Doyle.

Problem with my club is we have negative Bowyer in charge who is making hard work of an extremely poor league.

If we had Wellens then we would be top right now.

You say it's a poor league but is it really? Crewe and Plymouth are excellent football sides. Yourselves, Exeter and Cheltenham are extremely difficult to beat and very effective in how they play. FGR, Colchester and Northampton all flirting around the playoffs. All have good players. I don't see it being any weaker than last year.

I get it. You don't like being in this league. We don't either, but we soon realised we needed to drop the 'we're too good to be here' bollocks because the size of a club and their attendances don't win games of football. We both have to earn the right to get out of this division.

 

We spent far too long in this khazi league when we were down here before in the last few years...we don't think we are too good for this league, we wouldn't be here if we were!! Look how crap we were last season. It's the frustration of being literally an 'offside' goal away from being in the Championship and then being in L2 in the space of 2 years!! It is a poor division, make no bones about it but we have made some of the lower teams look like world beaters. Macc, Carlisle very poor but we couldn't beat them!!

 

The Bradford fans are probably pissed off with fans like you coming on and banging on. I sense the fans are like us Swindon fans with Brown in charge and the last thing they need is other fans acting like they know more about the club than they do. In regards to Doyle, how did he actually play or was it a poor team performsbce in general ?

 

It was just a poor team performance in general, rated the worst of the season by the local papers Bradford correspondent. And that's saying something judging by the performances of late.
I know it might seem like a large section of our fans are unhappy despite being in the playoffs but I think you have to watch us week in week out to understand why.
I knocked yesterday on the head, would have normally gone but knew full well what the outcome would be with Doyle coming back. It's why for Doyles sake I've continually said it would be better for him to stay at Swindon, I've watched some of your games on Ifollow and the quick pass and constant movement upfront is completely different to how we set up. Us trying to fit a freescoring striker back in yesterday was painful to watch.

 

Doyle played quite well in a soul destroying team performance. I would n’t blame him at all for wanting to get away. Would n’t blame any of them. Can’t believe any of them are enjoying the football. I’d only give any credit to Doyle and Shay. I feel it’s a big moment for this squad and the manager. No idea how we get out of it. Can’t see any changes in manager or squad until the summer. Dire.
