I went today and I've sat through many 100's of similarly utterly garbage, pleasureless Div4 games and it's been a blessed relief not to go just because I have an ST. The only real negative for me from today's performance is that I've already bought tickets for Morecambe.

 

A strange feeling walking out the ground, we've won but most people around us can't wait to get away. Hard to describe really. I should be happy but I'm glad it was over. Like 90minutes of watching paint dry. You couldn't tell who was 4th from top and who was 4th from bottom. 3 points but jeez it's hard to watch, makes Parky's football look positive.

 

Not really mentioned on the wireless, that it was a very nice through ball (YES - we can do them sometimes!) from Vaughan to Connelly for him to win the penalty. With Connellys pace, playing balls inside their full backs should be the remit from GB.

I'm sure our resident moaners have already written off today's victory because we scored two penalties, but would they be forgiving to Bowyer if we had lost by conceding two penalties?

 

I could manage this team and get them in an automatic spot and take them up.

The league is mighty poor. The standard is awful.

Problem is Bowyer is making hard work of this league and playing boring football.

Our defence played well, but when they have to work that hard against 4th bottom there's something majorly wrong.
