Probably 250k would be a reasonable fee for him and Swindon would be getting him cheap at that the way he's scoring. Let's not forget that he would likely be signing for years so they're not just buying him to get promoted this season he'd be their leading man for next season too.

Honesty I don't want him back he was unbelievably poor for us but if Swindon want him they need to pay. Let's not forget also Doyle himself has a part to play if he's so desperate to be a Swindon player maybe he's going to have to take a hit on his wages to make that happen although I doubt he'd be keen on that idea.

That's why he's on here trying to convince Bradford City we should sell when he knows that if they had a 21 goals player for the end of year he wouldn't want Swindon to sell that player.

Anything less than 200k - 250k then questions need to be asked.

If anything, it'll be closer to £100,000.

Either way though, it'll be undisclosed so no one will really know anyway.

No it won't.. he's sucking you in.

He doesn't want to sign for Swindon. He just wants to be loaned there.

If he comes back he will still need to score. If he stay he can say he scored 20 plus goals for Swindon do you want a bit?

Him and his agent playing games.

    That's because we're a charity club.

200-250k is the deal it should be and if we can't conduct business at that price then they need someone better doing their business.

Do Swindon have 250k? Pretty big money for League 2.

It'd put him among the top ten most expensive League 2 signings.

I don't care if they have or don't have 200-250k. Not our problem.

I repeat not many div 2 have scored 21 goals before the start of the year and around 60% of a team goals.

200-250k is nothing if it's going to bring you 750-1m ROI come May. You find the money for that ROI!

If they can't find the money he stays and then they battle it out to sign him at the end of season.

Let's stop being a charity and make statements in the football world.

Could not agree more there is no reason to let Swindon have our pants down we can afford to play hard ball so let's do it instead of being down trodden Bradford who have to make ends meat all the time.

Totally agree with both comments above. I was asking if Swindon have 250k. Fair enough us asking for that amount, its another thing if they want to pay it or not. As we know, having a chairman who understands spending, is not always common practice.

I can't helping thinking that we are gonna get out pants pulled down. Something along the lines of Doyle staying with Swindon for the remainder of the season, with them paying his wages in full.

This is a really good test as to were we are ref promotion ands supporting Boywer.

McBurnies cash as helped us to stabilise a tad and now if we really are ambitious show your cards Mr Chairman show us your ambition after the debacle of last year?
Or we could pissssss around with Grimsby and Macclesfield , as we should not get relegated thanks to Bury.

Doyle has made it well known he doesn't want to return and play for us, I'd take Swindon paying his full wages IF Swindon wont sign him. players have all the power there would be nothing to stop him returning and picking up an injury not allowing him to play, we need him off the books one way or another IMO.

So that's all it takes now for us to get our pants pulled down.

A player using social media or press to say they don't want to play for us... seriously we that soft a club?

If so then this club is in trouble.

And as I posted if Doyle returns and plays hard ball with an injury, what has that achieved ?.

You've to think long term and the effects it will have on the club as a BUSINESS!

If we bend over to Doyle and Swindon then any player that we could get money for or doing well out on loan will just copy Doyle and say they don't want to play for us.

Never ever be weak in negotiations and don't be bullied certainly not when you hold the cards.

We walk away from the table and if Doyle wants to play injury game or not professional then so be it and out him.

We made a massive mistake letting him go to
Swindon in the 1st place at the start of the season.

We'll see, I hope I'm wrong but there is no way Swindon will pay anything like the £250,000 being quoted.
