    Good.

    I'd like to have kept him but we've too many weaknesses in midfield so if moving him out means we can plug a gap there then I think it's a good sacrifice.

    (Cue a long term injury to one of our strikers the minute he leaves).

    If it is Salford, we should get our fee back or close to it and they would likely match his wages so he would want to go.

    However don’t like the idea of selling to rivals but him going may mean we can get 3 or 4 more in that we need to finish squad, it’s probably worth it

    Why do you want to keep him? As long as we replace him we will be fine. Yesterday was pleasure to watch two strikers in the first half who actually move for the ball, hold the ball up, have a bit of pace and can actually win a header.Not too mcuh to ask to find another one like that is it?

    If selling Doyle to one of our rivals means we can bring in a quality midfield player and a winger, then I am all for it. Suspect if Doyle does go, we will bring in a youngster on loan to replace him, Edmondson perhaps?

    Even if got a 200k for Doyle, that’d be a potential 3.5k a week for a new signing with just the fee alone. Add in saving 5k a week on wages as well, easily bring in 3 quality league 2 players on those wages

    For me it would be interesting to see how GB uses the loan system. Is he for Prem kids with quality that he can pitch straight in or lower his sights and bring in experienced journeymen loanees. Obviously, shift Doyle etc and he can afford a couple of perms.

    For the wages Doyle is on he's not showing he us worth that much
    Or do we need him to take the pens?

    For me he is a luxury we cant afford and wont miss if he goes

    What are you basing that on? They’ve got players on 8k a week.

    I’d say they will pay 250-300k for him. Or that’s what I’d be asking for
