    The shorter guy behind Gibson and O'Connor is the stocky bloke I saw at training the other day, he looks a pretty good player. That's a better pic although hed screwing his face up. Any ideas?

    Yeah, I was referring to the start of the season, not ‘during the second half’. I went to Shrewsbury and despite us winning I knew then it was going to be a tough ask. The fact we only had Doyle, Miller and McCartan set alarm bells ringing. Then we had Chicksen at the back, released Killa which left us with just McGowan, NKP and O’Connor which was always too weak. Nobody knew what to expect from Riley and I did warn folks claiming he must be good that that wasn’t necessarily the case. Then we had THAT midfield. Reeves was already MIA, I didn’t rate Wright and Akpan was potentially a decent signing. We had Scannell on one side (but with an injury record that made Davies look like an ever present) and nothing on the other or to back up.

    A complete mid-match of a squad and some wondered why we struggled, let alone being quietly optimistic...!

    Looks like a ball winner from the clips I've seen. Tenacious and dynamic. Good on the ball and likes to get forward and can thread a pass. Fingers crossed he doesn't turn shite now cos weve signed him :p
