Out midfield is sh@te at the minute and we need more wingers plus another forward with pace.

 

How many wingers do you want?

 

I do think we need another to play wide left. Ismail and Scanell are both right footed and play predominantly on the right. The only left sided player weve got with any real pace is Robinson and I cant see him featuring anytime soon. We have players like Wood who can fill in, but it's not his natural position. Centre midfield is lacking at the moment, but I'm sure it will be addressed

 

I'd much prefer centre mid to be sorted before we look at another winger. Thought I read that Ismail is more of a left winger but could be wrong.

I don't even include Robinson in any plans for the season.

Well according to a recent comment on Instagram he hopes to be back on the 10 th July. Next week

I think I'd like both positions to be addressed to be sure that we have a real balance in the team, unlike the mash up we had last season. Agree that we could do with a ball winner, a leader in midfield, but importantly someone who can carry ball forward from midfield into the final 3rd. We were missing that last year. Looking at the clip of Matty Palmer, hes certainly mobile, likes to get forward and can certainly thread a pass. Hope theres legs in that rumour

Viv Solomon-Otabor ex Birmingham City left winger was a name mentioned to me weeks ago but he's not shown up yet.
Only 23 but did play under Bowyer at Blackpool and aledgedly doesn't fancy returning to Portsmouth on a permanent deal having been there last season on loan.

 

Palmer done deal, expect announcement soon (not sure if today i'm not that good, else i'd be called Gary Bowyer)
