Yeah but considering how shite that Bolton team were I wouldn't read much into that. I seem to remember them not being big fans of Cullen or burke too but I'd take either of them right now.

I read it to mean it's a done deal but not announced yet, as Ronnie posted his 'inside knowledge' after Vaughan had been announced. Could be wrong though.

 

That's how interpreted it. If indeed we are after another striker, surely thatd spell the end for Doyle or even possibly McCartan

 

Fair enough, I'll take your word for it but I honestly can't remember too many who he wasn't an automatic first choice for.

 

I think Sheehan moved inside due to an injury (Davies maybe?) and that's how Mezza first broke back into the side.

 

I can’t see us not signing a left sided midfield player. It’d be a huge mistake. What’s the point in signing quality forwards and then not giving them the service they need...?

 

Is Zeli Ismail not gonna start on the left? Reckon he could do some damage in league 2

 

Honestly there were quite a fair few... he had a couple of bad moments in his few games and he wasn't forgiven by some for almost his whole time here, those people looking back would probably say they always thought he was good but it's pure revisionism because I was also in a lot of arguments defending him

 

Scannell is equally as good on either wing and hopefully Robinson will be back

 

Bowyer said the other day he wanted more wingers and more players with the skill like Ismail so I think we'll get at least 1 more winger in.

 

Doyle, perhaps .......... But NO takers for McCartan, as yet
