    Got to say, I think Shay could be decent for us this season and some of the comments about him from posters on here have been uncalled for.

    He featured in the majority of games for the team which won this league last season and contributed a decent number of goals and assists. If he hadn't played for us already I think people would be happy with us signing him, at least as a squad player.

    He was also nowhere near as bad as people make out, in fact when he was in the team people were calling for him to be played more. He was definitely showing glimpses of a decent player under McCall, it went downhill a bit after that but so did literally every other player.

    Would be happy for him to stay

    If you ask most fans’ of clubs in this league whether they’d have him or not, they would admittedly snatch our hands off.

    He’s a great asset to have in this division - his record proves it.

    If as reported swindon town are interested in Eoin Doyle how about a swap deal for kaiyne woolery who I would imagine is on less wage wise and maybe frees up wages at Bradford

    I would probably say Chris Taylor is a reliable signing. One Bowyer will trust.

    Hardly one to get the fans buying season tickets but bit of experience in midfield

    Nobody was excited by Ricky Ravenhill or Lee Bullock but they were integral to getting us out of L2 last time. He’ll do for me.

    This is the exact opposite of the Joe Ledley rumour, which didn't sound exciting as an anagram but when solved became a 'wow, seriously?' type of rumour.
    Chris Taylor sounds a bit meh, but Torchy Lairs would be an awesome signing imo.

    Nah, not having that. There were many other players that were far more responsible for our decline during his period with us. If we'd had a few more putting in the effort like Lee Bullock did we'd not have been flirting with non league, nor taken so long to get out of L2.
