I agree. Can you imagine if the shop gets a refit next Summer, and then the tea bars get a deep clean and a lick of paint the following year??

Seriously though, it reads that they have completely stepped away from the 3 year plan. They recognise that it is unrealistic.

If their long-term plan is to be successful, and to have any credibility, I think we need to see some younger players playing decent football next season. If the outcome of this summer is a journeyman manager, who did a good PowerPoint on the day, playing a version of hoof with a ragtag selection of loans and the current squad cobbled together through August, we will have lost another year.

A Head Coach that brings in different ideas, supported by a recruitment that gives us balance in the squad e.g. wide players, a second right footed centre-half then the vision is at least being backed up. A decent pitch to play on, and we might start to make progress again after the debacle of the second half of last season.

At this moment in time many don't see a lot of positivity coming from our club to be fair, if you are privy to things within our club that you know are going to make us a power within league one this coming season spread the word, because at present time its not looking great for many seasoned Bradford City fans.

I honestly don’t think the aim now is to be a power in League One next season.

So a fan who has a different opinion shouldnt be discarded as shit, he might be well of the mark but I see little positivity coming from our owners, as you say have the balls to tell us bringing youth though is more important to the owners than a promotion, or they have given up on their 3 year plan, instead of the statrment that means nothing.

Pivotal was the Playoff Final and the Yeovil defeats, both arguably avoidable. 2 results that have brought us to where we are today. These were savage blows to the Club and have impacted hugely on finance and fans alike. We have to welcome the investment in the pitch and training facilities and the continuing youth development agenda as we start again from scratch. It is also of prime importance that we operate within our means and not incur unnecessary debt, this the Owners appear to be addressing, which is another positive. So wherever the blame lies for our recent failings we are still alive and kicking and we are making some progress in addressing some fundamental and long standing issues. So, in my view, it's not all doom and gloom and football being the life drug it is, I remain optimistic for next season and a fresh start. The curse of prejudgement and speculation hangs in the air, but Rome wasn't built in a day and in my 60 years of following City all of the bad times, apart from one, poignantly, fall by the wayside..and there have been far more disappointments than successes but anticipation remains.

Nothing as changed regarding edins longer goal which was stated when they first took over which is develop younger players with potential and give them the oppertunity to play in our first team(which i think is a huge exciting thing for any up and coming kid).
We have developed sykes kenworthy(hes going to have a big future)omari patrick(hes very raw but can defo improve and have a part to play)and robinson(hes defo got something about him).
Then theres gibson, devine etc all got potentials to improve etc etc ;what these kids need is a platform to play, edin and bradford city are giving them that platform, surely thats a positive thing?
Theres goung to be out goings (some we all agree on others we wont)and theres going to be incomings(plenty players out there.)
Regarding head coach is just a fandango name for manager.look like it or not were in a new chapter of bradford city and we are in change ,things are getting better and yes we are aiming for promotion next year nothing as changed on that front.

Did we really need another thread for another message where you rip them apart?

“We want messages from the club, they don’t communicate enough”

We get them and all we get is everyone slating them and picking up on hidden messages that aren’t even there like bloody forensic analysts

I agree and its the same folk spouting the same vitriol every time.

Wind your necks in. Things won't change in one day. If youre that negative then take a break, go outside and spend some time in the fresh air. It's boring reading the same folk smashing every post with negativity on every single thread.

I agree with all this but I hope one of the lessons the owners have learned is better PR no more promises that can’t be kept

What did Nahli Wells do wrong ? He wanted to play a higher level and stay around the same area..

Gordon Watson wasnt the entire hudders family it was one thug Kevin Gray..

And yeah I was willing Hudders on the other day.. im a fan of the underdog.. see what happens when you get owners that are fans of the club!!

Dick und Doof will get us nowhere, I expect their experiment to fail spectaculalry next season and once the feel the full wrath of the bantams family they will soon run a mile..

It’s bell ends like the OP that are doing my nut in - taking something positive (the communication rather than the actual message/content) and attempting to break it down and re-hash it to suit their own agenda. Wish some of our ‘supporters’ would just fck right off! Feel free to edit my post and put in ‘red’ what I really mean....damn fck nut!
