    I haven't followed him closely over the last year tbh. A couple of years ago, he was outstanding for Barnsley so I'm basing my view on that.

    Plays both full back positions and midfield I think. Would fit in with Bowyer wanting players he knows, and with him looking for versatility.

    Maybe I was right in suggesting Mellor wouldn’t want to drop down to league 2 , especially with the amount of interest in him last preseason with both Wigan and Blackburn showing interest in him. I may be totally wrong and this lad Henley maybe coming in to challenge for the right back spot.

    well. we'd need more than one right back. and if he can cover LB aswell then that's all the better. Mellor isn't forced to be going.

    Mellor in an interview at the end of last season said he loved working with Bowyer and was looking forward to being here next season.
