In preparation for next season close the TL Dallas stand close all the upper tears with the exception off an area for cooperates and Season Ticket holders with suite membership. Get Bronco back in Midland Road where he belongs

 

We’re getting relegated I doubt we’re going to start chucking money at new stands trev. Maybe we could do with a fantasy thread where we can put all the pie in the sky suggestions

 

Are the current boxes so over subscribed that we could make money on the conversion?

 

Not sure but we should evaluate the possibility of putting to use one end of the ground that is rarely used to bring in extra income

 

@Glenn Ackroyd or @wetherbywhaler what's the current total of season tickets sold so far ?

 

I don't know Goose but Glenn might as he has just done a press release around the subject.

Hi - There's been no release issued by me (other than CRM promotional emails). They come from the PR/Media department which hasn't put one out.

Given our position in the table, we're very pleased with how ticket sales have held up, all things being considered.

The last few days always see record sales coming through. Over 1,200 bought in the last 2 days alone.

 

If you know theres been 1200 in the last 2 days then surely you know the total too. Why the big secrecy ?

People will whinge if he did and whinge if he doesn't, then whinge at the amount we've sold . Then whinge at people whinging.

 

If they pander to the whingers who have been crying for an extension how about a little something for those who bought prior to the FIXED deadline, club shop voucher or free checkatrade game.

 

I bought mine as soon as they were available so it doesn’t affect me. I just want the club to sell as many as possible to give it as good a budget as possible

 

They shouldn't extend the deal at all, and definitely not give anything away to those who bought before the deadline. Christ we've already got the cheapest season tickets in the country. It's ridiculous to suggest more money is taken away from the finances. Just goes to show how our low prices are taken for granted.

 

Thats what i was getting at. like i said in the other thread the deadline could be june and people would want longer.
People moan that the club is in the doldrums yet cant be arsed buying a ticket with 9 months notice and a months notice of a great deal.

What i meant by the voucher was to stop people who do buy early being put off in future. Why rush and help the club when they constantly bend over backwards for the whingers

 

You certainly can't base not renewing on the financial situation. £150 is one step away from giving them away. Countless ways to pay, what with 0% credit cards and the like. I can get people not wanting to renew after the shite witnessed for the best part of two seasons and league 2 football is barely professional, but no excuse on the price front.

 

If you buy yours then you can assume there is 1 more to add to the figure no one really cares about.
